Video of Rashan Gary playing football in a Michigan uniform

On mobile so need an assist on the embed. Watching him is going to be a lot of fun.
OL #74 is Bredeson by the way. That's a 10 yard penalty a couple times over.

Hands to the face on Rashan.

actually bredeson did ok there, hes obviously got room to improve but that rep looked solid. so im guessing youre commenting poor #74 simply bc hes repping vs gary whos just unique.
bredeson will play this year - his mental progress and acclimation to college game and overall consistency in practice will determine where and how much but hes talented enough to push some of the returning OL (especially if they dont improve).
kids gonna be a player, maybe even this year - but obviously gary already is. the OL will have their hands full vs this DL in practice every day but theyll be better for it

290-pound humans should not be able to move like that
August 15th, 2016 at 5:12 PM ^
He has so much power too. Scary to think that he's really only started lifting weights recently (per his mom).
August 15th, 2016 at 5:15 PM ^
The amount of distance he covers and the speed he reaches in 3 steps is outrageous. Bredeson does well to absorb his initial impact, but has no answer for the swim move (which probably could have been more crisp).

That was one of many moments that cemented my fandom. What a boss. It never gets old.

I see a lot of holding penalties in the future for O Linemen defending Mr. Gary.

Nor would I expect him to pound and pound on the back door until he can slide in, like Bosa did last November.

Okay, done.

It's time to let go Clarkie.

It was never funny. Probably one of our more pathetic memes. It's sad because it's true.

Better than the "selling shirts in Ohio" or whatever it was. Never understood the humor of the original thread/posts... Much less the months of regurgitation.

I'm not going to feel bad for those people. And I don't feel bad for not feeling bad.
Short of decapitation or paralysis, I'm not feeling any sympathy for opponents this year. To quote East Mississippi Comm College Head Genius Buddy Stephens: "We fuckin' beat people to sleep is what we do."

I'm actually impressed by Bredeson in that clip
August 15th, 2016 at 5:21 PM ^
He took Gary's speed and power like a boss. Kept him in front and engaged.
By the time Gary rips/swims to the inside, the ball should be gone.
Great display by two true freshman. That was some hard hitting football.
August 15th, 2016 at 5:47 PM ^
at the 6 second mark Bredenson took an illegal shot to the face! While his head snapped backwards his body maintained balance. Make no mistake from my comments. I feel in my knower that Gary is going to someday be at the level of Usain Bolt dominance (Gatlin and the field did every thing they had in their power, Bolt just has several other gears above)! In this case Bredenson did his job while being fouled. So the swim move after that is moot.
Go Blue!

I agree...Dude kept his balance well.
August 15th, 2016 at 5:24 PM ^
AGREE!! he actually looks more like a beast that I would have ever thought.. being on the end solo against a guy like gary isnt anything trivial

Whoa. He looks lean and mean for a 290 lb dude. The next few years are going to be fun.
August 15th, 2016 at 5:30 PM ^
When he's in his stance, the little bounce forward onto his hands, then the whistle blows, and he turns it off.. Hell, I think when he turns around to get back into position at the end of the play, he's faster than most d-linemen. :)
Also agree that Bredeson did well to take the huge punch to the head and the super fast outside move, and stay with it.
I would also like to point out - The "quarterback" kid did a good job to not turn and run, screaming, out of the building. :)

And the improvements he's made in the weight room in 2 months have my jaw dropped. If this kid can develop just one move he can hang his hand on outside of brute force and quickness and he can be a top overall pick. BIG Beware.
