Won't miss. His personal issues aside, I always felt Kobe was more ball chucker than death dealer. His game tonight is a living testament to the way he played the last eight years. All ball chuck, hero ball. That's why everyone around him moved on.

Im an MJ guy, but must admit Kobe was very close to him in terms of how he played the game. Both had that killer instict and certainly not shy when it comes to putting up shots. I am not a big NBA guy (post MJ) so I will not miss Kobe, but he had a hell of a career.

Warriors break the win record, Steph breaks the 3-point record (season),

Kobe puts up 60 and Lakers actually win. 

Pretty great night for the NBA, that's for sure.

Don't much care for/about Kobe, but man these Warriors are fun to watch!

The Spurs tied for the 7th best season of all time and no one cares.  Crazy season.  8 of the 11 teams with an .817 winning percentage or better went on the win the championship.

I don't get the love for this guy. He raped a girl and people are willing to overlook that because he played basketball?? Fuck that. Even if he wasn't a rapist, he is still a shitty human being. Just look at how he treated his teammates (not meant to be an exhaustive list).

You can call him great or whatever, but all he was/is to me is an asshole rapist that learned to put an inflated leather ball through a basketball hoop better than other people. I couldn't celebrate that even if I was a Laker fan. It's the same reason I couldn't celebrate Peyton Manning's career no matter how good he played. Anyway, good riddance to the rapist. He definitely won't be missed by me.

3). I guess if MJ did it, it's OK then, right? I suppose it's ok to rape because Kobe did it too? Awesome rationalization. Hopefully you don't idolize Kobe to that extreme but then again you never know these days.
