- Did you meet any other MGoBoarders there?
- What are you asking Coach Harbaugh to autograph?
- Any other good stories about the line? Were people passing the time with a few "who's got it better than us?" shout-outs or similar?
Also, enjoy meeting Harbaugh - it should be a memorable time for you! Given your obvious enthusiasm, you should think about writing up something on the autograph event for the board after the fact.

"I got there a little after 8... Am... Yesterday. I met both Benn and DISCUSS man, and we had a lovely discussion. I asked Coach Harbaugh to autograph the Super guide. I told him that I love him, and that he smelled oddly like sage and fresh thyme. He told me I was creepy. Oddly enough, I took that as a complement, and I asked him for his toe nails. THEN! I got to autograph a restraining order and it's the best day ever!!!!"

This is one of the most ridiculous things to come by in a while. These people could just hangout at Schembechler Hall any day and JH would probably be glad to give you an autograph. A little creepier and stalkier, but if you're willing to sit in line for 7 hours, you probably don't care about that.

That's much more disruptive and annoying for Harbaugh, though. I'm sure he's polite with this kind of thing, but I can't imagine he'd love having people follow him around wherever he goes asking for autographs.

That's true, but the guy talks about saving a few seconds every day to "reduce drag." I mean, he said he puts on the same outfit every morning to spare himself the productivity loss from deciding what to wear.

Yup. One time I went to the thing where you can get autographs from the players on the field (this was years ago, like 2004, maybe 2003). Braylon is my all-time favorite Michigan player and I just wanted his autograph only. Waited in line for about two hours and was about five spots away from finally meeting him and getting his autograph on a number one jersey, then it started to downpour and they canceled the rest of the event. Needless to say, I was pretty furious, but totally understood why they canceled the rest of the event.
