HomeSure-Logo-NMLS-14_thumb_thumb_th[2]OKAY SO HERE'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO. You're gonna load this page and it's just gonna sit there. You will not hit refresh. Our two twitter collections will update automatically, putting the news in your eyeballs. Twitter collection #1 is news-only, who has gone where. Twitter collection #2 is the ongoing exultation/panic/depression thread. To participate just @ me.

We are caching the front page, which means you will appeared logged out. You will be logged in on interior pages. Going to interior pages may result in 503s and the like; staying on the front page will get you the latest and greatest news without such risk.

OKAY SO HERE'S OUR SPONSOR. Yep, Homesure Lending. It's like all those Rocket commercials except 1) Matt was not a major contributor to the subprime crisis, so he's got that going for him, 2) Matt never wrote a letter to LeBron James in comic sans*, 3) Matt goes out to various companies to get you the best possible rate. My lender has the word "wholesale" in its name, and this makes me feel great. Also the rate.

Matt's got a ticket offer going for a Michigan football or basketball game. If you're buying a home or refinancing, he's the right guy to call.

*[Probably. I have not checked with him to make sure this is true.]

OKAY SO THIS IS THE SCHEDULE.

  • 8:10 AM: TN WR Nate Johnson. Michigan.
  • 9 AM: MI CB Lavert Hill. Michigan.
  • 10 AM: MI OL Alaric Jackson. M, Iowa, Nebraska.
  • 11 AM: MI K Quinn Nordin. Michigan.
  • 11:30 AM: AZ DE Connor Murphy. Michigan, USC, Oregon, ASU.
  • 1 PM: NJ DE Rashan Gary. Michigan.
  • 1 PM: FL WR Pie Young. Michigan, Louisville, USC.
  • 3PM: CA TE Devin Asiasi. Michigan.
  • 3PM: CA DT Boss Tagaloa. Michigan, USC, UCLA, UW.
  • 4PM: CA QB Vic Viramontes. Michigan, Utah, Cal.

OKAY SO THIS IS THE NEWS-ONLY TWITTER COLLECTION

OKAY SO THIS IS THE EXULTATION/PANIC/DEPRESSION THREAD

Answering questions whilst chained to my laptop all day. If I don't get to yours it's almost certainly because it's already been answered several times already, or I'm answering it right now. Greg Little is not flipping. I deeply regret ever bringing his name up in speculation.  There is no silent commit whose name isn't on the schedule above. Don't tweet at croots.

First off, I love this plan. Awesome job. One thought, will there be an updated/updating list of whose LOIs have been received? It would be nice to have that in one central place with all that here.

Wait, not a "major" contributor to the subprime crisis? A minor one, then? Average contributor? Bottom line, how much bailout cash did he get? I'm not asking because I'm mad, I am just curious if some of the bailout cash went toward the package that landed Harbaugh here. Cause if so, that would make the whole financial meltdown worthwhile in my book.

After reading this thrice I realized what I am suppose to do. 1) hit refresh no more than 60 times a minute, 2) if new information does not appear after my constant refreshing begin clicking on every diary or post I can see in hopes that will bring new information, 3) if that doesn't work open beer and begin chugging!

I just remembered I have a doctors appointment at 10:30 (why didn't I realize when making it?). Will the Signing of the Stars event be saved by anyone or available for view after it's over? I'll definitely be off my phone from 10am-1pm with that and the drive. I was looking forward to watching that. Thanks.

boys and girls, Merry NSD to the Wolverine faithful.  Went to bed thinking the chance to play for

the former AFC Player of the Year and Super Bowl Coach Harbaugh at his alma mater and destination job, Coach Brown and Coach Mattison in the best college football town in America will be enough to land young Mr. Gary with us. That, together with the value of a Michigan degree, and the opportunity to play with some good friends from high school seems more than enough to offset Clemson, playing for Coach Dabo, down the street from your uncle, but still far away from home.  Either way its great to be a Michigan Wolverine, and we have Harbaugh.   Go Blue and enjoy the day.

The first twitter feed on the hub page seems cut off. Its about half the size of the second one. Can that be fixed? Or am I the only one seeing this issue?

I don't get this technology stuff - I tried twittering "@me" and man, that dude is a total d-bag. In unrelated news, some guy just started following me on Twitter and he's a complete a-hole.

The twitter Q&A feed is running. I don't have twitter but can read the feed which is fine for me!

The news feed doesn't seem to be posting who is in yet.

I like the twitter feed for its exhuberance and raw emotions, but my concern is when an announcement is made, all the responding posts shove the actual announcement off the front page, so to speak. It would be nice to have a live scorecard indicating the players' decisions and when the LOI is in.

I love this website and go here all the time. I respect your journalist integrity. That being said, why do you have to take a dig at the city of Detroits largest employer on something that isn't even true? Say what you want about Mr.Gilbert, but to say that Quicken was a "major player" in the subprime mortgage crisis is factually incorrect. I get you want to hype your sponsor, but why make something up?

Maybe I'm just sensitive to the subject because I know so many people who have gotten jobs there and made 2x as much money as the ever did and now are able to buy homes, pay off debt, etc. I get the sponsor is a cool guy and gives you tickets to Umich sporting events, but I'm pretty sure I still appreciate the guy who is single handedly sinking his fortune into a city everyone else gave up on.
