Wasn't academics a huge thing about this whole gary recruitment? I'm pretty sure you just need to write your name on the ACT to get accepted to Ole Miss, or really any school in Mississippi for that matter

Crystal balls are meaningless. Let's not be a fragile fanbase because one guy puts in a crystal ball to someone else. In fact, I'm betting a million Stanley Nickels that he goes to Michigan

the mantra from the coaching staff is "we're going to win, with or without you.  It's up to you to be a part of it."

So you're absolutely right.

But what gets me about this is for months, the chatter has been between Auburn and Michigan and now all of a sudden Ole Miss is involved?

He goes to Ole Miss, I call bullshit.

Those fuckers in Blind Side were right to get investigated.  Crooked fucks. . .

Michigan has 70 percent of the crystal balls and a multi day UNOFFICIAL visit still coming. Relax people. Besides Gary has kept everything so close to the vest there is no way rebels247 has any inside info. Oh yeah, we also have Harbaugh, Partridge and half of New Jersey committed.

Remember when you wouldn't hear about recruiting until after classes were signed, sealed, and delivered?  Michigan probably lost dozens of all americans to late pushes from other schools and we never even knew.  Much less stressful, those salad days.

But us recruiting junkies knew all about Hart and Henne looooooooooooooooooong before any special edition. I don't think 2004 was much different then today. I think you have to go back to the 80s or early 90s, before the information age, for days like you described.

Remember when a national writer put in a Rutgers CB for Peppers before his announcement? Yeah, he literally said it was a blind guess in an attempt to get it right over others. And also probably to get people clicking on his site.

Suggesting that the homers on this board can't believe that recruits would go elsewhere for other reasons. We always seem to cry foul here like the petulant child. My other point was that if any recruits read this, we sound like a fan base that is too quick to question the integrity of some kid who by all accounts seems to be a good kid.

have that all the other schools don't.. Have they invested 100's of millions of dollars into their stadium and athletic department, weight room, football facilities. I am curious thats all this is not a we have they have it's a honest question. World class education....Well ok that one was but you know what I mean.

bagmen have nothing to do with the instituions. That way they are untouchable and the universities cant be punished. That's the way I'd do it anyway. Let's say I was an Ohio fan. I'd take daddy's hundred dollar bills and put them in a bag, talk to the recruit and be on my happy way. If the kid doesn't commit he's probably in deep shit.

Yes, Amir_6. Please worry. Worry lots and lots and lots. This is definitely something you should worry about.

Oh, and in addition, please go on twitter and find Gary and send him lots of tweets about how great he is and how much we need him at Michigan. That will show him our love, and he will definitely be swayed to commit to Michigan.

There is nothing, Amir, that your worrying will do.

I still thing Gary ends up in Ann Arbor...its a great situation for him.  He will be an impact player on teams that will be competing for national championships.  Furthermore, education is actually important to him and there is no comparison between UM and Ole Miss.  The only thing that scares me is that it's common knowledge that Ole Miss likes to throw money at recruits...that's the reason they had the top recruiting class a few years back.

because idk if this guy is a legitimate source or not but that doesnt matter because Gary clearly is basically lowkey already comitted but only he and his mom along with very close friends that are also in this class have been told. I'm gonna assume this guy either A. Has a biased opinion B. Didnt do his homework on this kid before saying that or C. Is high as heck.

Someone also crystal ball'd Jabrill to Rutgers back in the day.

Wiltfong and Lorenz think Gary is going to Michigan. Until that changes, we can assume that he is going to Michigan.

Theres no way anybody else has a realistic shot at this point unless they can put the largest cafeteria in the world and make the education as good as harvard along with a team as good all the time as bama.

that "money" is going to be a factor in changing Rashan's or his mother's mind are dumb.  With no evidence at all, you are accusing a mother of selling out her son.  Just stop it.  Let me remind you that Rashan's mother was on forum a while back discussing why her son may not go to OSU.  So, she might be reading this forum and the dumb, baseless comments made by some "fans". Just stop it.
