Man ... this year they are calling the softest fouls I've ever seen. It's like when the NFL changed to only allowing contact on WR's within 5 yards. Extreme rule change apparently.

Beilein's best team had Burke, Mcgary, and JMO. Three tough hustle players. Now we just have a bunch of guys who are good at horse. Yes I know those 3 were talent but there toughness was what made the difference. Zero rebounding and zero D. It's ok to recruit well rounded players and not just shooters who are young for their grade. Constantly look like boys among men. Team is set up like its a mid major...not a legit power program.

Ppl get mad but we recruit just shooters. More to the game then that. Great when 3s fall you don't need to rebound or play d then. When they don't you need a plan b. We don't even recruit good ball handlers. Literally just shooters and incredibly weak under skilled 4s and 5s. Wagner is a 3 at a real ball program. UM Built like a mid major thru and thru.

Just like Xavier .. we're the better shooting team on paper, but our defense makes them much better shooters. Offensively, somebody has to grow balls and drive/probe the lane. Stauskas was great at that. Irvin started doing it at the end of last year.

When you suck at d its tough to be good at basketball.  Our ceiling this year is like Indiana football, high scoring chaos games but probably not a great record at the end.

Outrebounded 21-11.  Bad defense.  No rim protector. 

Where have I seen this game before?

Oh yeah...

Now I just wait for the guy in the Xavier post game thread, who said Xavier is great to show up and tell me UConn is going to the Final 4 this year. At some point your bad team makes other teams look "great". Your lack of defense makes other teams get easy looks and high shooting %.
