Majority opinion always gets rewards

2001's unhinged raving gave me an idea--maybe there is truth to his claim that the majority opinion gets rewarded with all kinds of mgopoints. This is in addition to the hot chicks, free beer, and private invitations to Brian's Algonquin Round Table lunches at Red Hawk (to those of you lower than 250 points, this is where we get together and discuss how to further reinforce our single POV) that we already receive of course. So here goes, get ready for consensus opinion, feel free to reward me with mgopoints beyond the dreams of lesser men: I like Rich Rodriguez. He always does a good job. Those who have little mgopoints are necessary to support those of us who have many. I like chocolate. Thank you.

I neg bang majority opinions to even things out. However, since they are the majority opinions I agree with them, unless the minority opinion is more to my liking.

Disagreeing with the majority is almost never a problem--unless it's blatently anti-social fascist opinions. Just be generally constructive and/or funny. For example, I am very much in favor of athletes enrolling early in order to smooth the transition to college from high school, but I've voted up people with the opposite opinion who provide cogent thoughts.

At least it saved the original post. I don't remember where I found the RSS feed for the mGoBoard - is there one for diaries? http://www.google.com/reader/view/feed/http%3A%2F%2Fmgoblog.com%2Ftaxon… In any case, while I will resist reposting his drivel, I wonder if he/she'd go away if we ignored her. It's not going away of its own volition because it keeps getting the response it's looking for. Some people can't resist feeding the trolls. I usually just skip over them, roll my eyes, shake my head, and mutter something under my breath.

I don't think RR does a good job all the time. No one does. For all I know he has a pile of bodies under his floor boards.

I don't always agree with what is posted on this blog. For instance, people are always letting me know they like turtles. Turtles must be incredibly popular because people bring them up all the damn time. I Fu*k-ing hate turtles. They are slow. They are ugly and it is a pain in the ass to try and remove a fish hook from a turtles mouth. But around here turtles are everybody's favorite reptile. It seems I can hardly get through a thread about depth charts before some terrapin lovin' nut job threadjacks the OP in order to let the whole freakin' world know that they like turtles. And seriously, if you're so passionate about turtles then why don't you just say you LOVE turtles?! huh? /dissent

The fact that people are still worried about their points really shows how many mental midgets frequent this site. I guess that's to be expected with most message boards, 85% E-Geek, 10% rational human being, 5% troll.
