OSU can have LeBron because everyone wants to be like Mike.

Per two different sources close to the situation, Michigan is expecting former NBA legend Michael Jordan on the sidelines for one of their home games this season. As of this writing, there is no set date for it to occur, as the details are currently being worked out.

Isiah, Magic and Larry all would have had six rings with their teams in their primes if they had the luxury of peaking in the '90s as well. No diss to MJ who I do believe might be the best player ever, but Phoenix, Seattle, Utah, the Knicks and Pacers did not measure up to what the league had lost to retirement around that time. Not even close.

First of all, that's completely idiotic. They all played on deeper teams than MJ did that would have caused Chicago a lot of matchup problems in their primes.

Secondly, I was clearly comparing the competition in the '90s to which MJ dominated, not a slate that included MJ himself. That shouldn't even need pointing out.

Things are looking great for us having MJ on our sidelines.  Great recruiting tool.  As long as he's promoting Nike & the Jumpman brand and not HANES.

I had a Jordan jersey, MJ tee-shirts, Bulls hat...I was a huge fan. Still my favorite basketball player.

My inner teen got the giggles when he uttered "Go Blue" in that video. Lebron is great, but he is no MJ or for that matter Magic or Bird. Those three were in a class all by themselves.

One play always will put Michael Jordan in perspective to me.

Jordan has the ball.  Reggie Miller guarding him.  Jordan reaches out and grabs Miller by the throat.  Whistle.  Defensive foul.

He may have been an excellent player.  Possibly the best 2-guard to have played.  The NBA needed a star.  Nike had been marketing him very well for several years.  The NBA changed the game to be more suited to him and had the refs give him nearly every play.  They even ignored his gambling.

When Jordan steps into Michigan Stadium, Bill Laimbeer should be ther to accidentally swing an elbow.

It's always great to have the GOAT on your side. Don't know exactly what kind of partnership the Football program will have with him because now I am hearing the "Jumpman" will NOT appear on the uniforms. Possibly Jordan Brand cleats/gloves, fan apparel??

Michael Jordan is forever the shrewd business man. The intertwining of both the Michigan and Jordan brands, both legendary in their own right, on top of his supposed added presence definitely sticks it to Ohio st and the LeBron James relationship. Still, LeBron just paid $41,000,000 dollars or so for over 1000 children to attend college on scholarship. That's nothing to sniff at. Nevertheless, It'll be interesting to see how these newfound relationships will continue to be mutually beneficial going forward, especially as it pertains to recruiting.

Ive read multiple first hand reports that Michael Jordan is a first class A Hole who is arrogant and treats people like dirt so... Meh to that.
