Your CFB Hate distribution

Submitted by blockm97 on

You've got 100% of your "CFB Hate" to disperse.  Who gets what percent?

For me.....

OSU:  92%

MSU 5%

Clemson 2%

Texas 1%

My disdain for OSU is unhealthy and unrelenting.  I refuse to draft Cleveland Browns in my FF league.  I won't pick a mid-major from Ohio during March Madness.  I loathed Lebron, then was "OK" with him and now dislike him again.  I think Matta looks like Gargamel from the Smurfs.  And my biggest UM pet peeve is when people debate.."What is UM's biggest game on the schedule?"

ND used to be on the list, but since they bitched out of the rivalry, they're dead to me.

Honorable mention:

Alabama, Auburn, PSU, USC, and Clemson.

It used to be about 100% OSU. But these days, it's actually more like 50% MSU, 50% OSU.

I'm sick of MSU fans acting like they have an elite program with years of tradition. They've been good/decent for the past 5 years. And have had 8 winning seasons in the past 15.

its:

50% MSU - had a couple of jobs where i worked with a lot of state grads/fans and it was just horrible...

45% OSU - i don't have to listen to a lot of OSU fans tell me how good they are, the ones that i have talked to are pretty level headed...

5% ND

I'm an M alumnus and a native NY'er now living in Newport Beach.  I usually split my vitriol equally between tOSU and USC. Though, scales tip when one of those pig fuckers is winning everything.  I'm currently holding at 60%tOSU and 40% USC.

Honest question, why do people hate USC? Are they like the ND of the West Coast compared to UCLA? I am not from nor have I been to California so I don't really understand that...I didn't like them when they beat us in the Rose Bowl but other than that they seem harmless.

Meh!

I have a friend who was in the AD at USC... I've been all around that campus.  The Song Girls have the best bodies money can buy and that's about it.  There is a cheerleading squad though (which are NOT the Song Girls)... those ladies though are some of the coolest women you will ever meet.

lots of rich kids, fancy cars, etc.  that said, i made friends with a bunch during grad school and they remain so to this day, 3 decades down the line.  the coliseum is a cool place to play football, though the neighborhood is way bad.

I met BuckNut at a game a couple of years ago.  Actually a decent guy, but funny enough, he's not an OSU grad and was working on the factory floor at Whirlpool.  I think he said his brother may have gone to OSU.                                                                                                            That being said, OSU remains the recipient of 100% of my vitriol.  They completely suck.  I hate Columbus.  Their colors are putrid.  Their fans are inbred.                                                                                                                                        That feels better, I'm done.

I acutally met this guy as I was on the bridge over the river going to the game this past year in Columbus.  He was with an entourage of Buckeye fans and of course they noticed me in my Michigan gear.  He extended his hand and welcomed me to Columbus, and I'm paraphrasing but wished that we see a good game that day.  Didn't have anything to say about Michigan that was disrespectful.  I only wonder how much of that civil behavior is as a result of their winning as much as they have of late.

I acutally met this guy this past year when I was on the bridge over the river headed to the game in Columbus.  He was with an entourage of Buckeye fans, and of course they noticed me decked out in my maize and blue gear.  He approached me and extended his hand to welcome me to Columbus.  I'm paraphrasing but he actually wished that we see a good game that day and didn't say anything disrespectful of Michigan.  The other fans were respectful too.  I can only wonder, though, how much of this civil behavior is as a result of them winning as much as they have of late.

OSU - 80%

MSU -  15%

NDSucks - 4%

Wisconsin basketball - 1%

On gameday, against any of these opponents, my hatred comes down on them like the hammer of Thor! The thunder of my hatred echoes through the corridors like the gusts of a thousand winds!

Maryland 60%

OSU 45%

MSU 45%

VT 45%

SEC 3%

FSU 2%

It adds up to 200%, as it should.

It's also based on "who would I rather see lose in games between them?"  If it were more like "who would I want my teams to beat the most" I'd have to reshuffle.

40 % OSU
35% MSU
20% ND
4% USC

If I didn't leave in michigan amongst sparties I probably wouldn't hate them as much. I couldn't even stand them during the JLS years.

This. I found State much easier to tolerate when I was in the military and later when my civilian career took me away from Michigan. No such luck with Ohio State, they are everywhere.

Of course now that I'm back, fuck State, always and forever.

Number 7

July 7th, 2015 at 2:09 PM ^

Used to be 60 OSU, 30 MSU, and 10 ND, but ...

  • I was glad somebody ended the SEC / FSU streak;
  • ND voted for irrelevance, so who am I to argue;
  • Dantonio.

So, now:

60% MSU

30% OSU

10% (composed of 1% each for the 7 SEC West teams, FSU, South Carolina, and Baylor)
