Harbaugh rumor...

Submitted by michiganfanforlife on

My parents live about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor, and I just talked to them. Apparently one of their friends is a Real Estate agent that has very recently been showing some extremely high end houses to a "Mrs. Harbaugh."  I am still not going to be convinced until it's a done deal, but the stars seem to be aligning at this point... (crosses fingers and prays...)

MOD EDIT - I initially took this down, but you know, it's pretty funny. We'll keep it for a bit longer. - LSA

I appreciate you trying to spread information. However, if you've been here for 5 years, then you would know that starting a rumor thread that is based on extremely thin info you heard from your parents, which they heard from a friend, is kinda rediculous. If there's something everyone here has learned its that unless you are Jim Hackett or Harbaugh, no one is close enough to this situation to claim any kind of inside information. Honostly, the fact that you think this is "inside info" tells me you're just trying to look cool.

I have intel from an undergraduate friend at UM that Mrs. Harbaugh and Jim were canoodling at Rick's early this morning.

Disclaimer: Can't verify the number of fishbowls that had been consumed at the time of the sighting.

If this can be somehow confirmed (and I wonder if Brian will only hint at it if it's the case) then I am downing the "Harbaugh is sealed and delivered" Kool Aid in great, messy gulps. No way his parents just happen to be moving back to AA while all of this is happening. I will accept the existential crisis that will come with being wrong if it somehow were to be a conincidence.

One of the first mistakes that Rich Rod made was to purchase a 12,000 +/- square foot house in Saline.  Most of the former coaches iive in Ann Arbor.  John Beiline purchased an expensive house as well, but it is in Ann Arbor and one might run into him at a local grocery store, restaurant or church.

Ann Arbor can be a funny town with certain expectations of the new members in the athletic department.

Please say it ain't so as far as Saline goes.

This exact same rumor was out for Les Miles in 07 and I think 11 too.

The "so and so is shopping for houses in [you favorite team's town]" is mentioned in every coaching search

I actually know the the agent for the house and he sent me the photo of the house that Miles picked out. Back then that job was his to take until a few things surfaced. We all know who and what happened, so I do believe there is some house hunting going on now just in case!

but real estate agents were the first "flight aware". They have to live somewhere but these days the money is so big that they often have their house scouted by another party (sans name) and then they sign the papers, etc. People make good money doing this for celebrities. It's all discreet and affordable for them. It's why this 90s investigation tech is never used anymore.
