Harbaugh rumor...
My parents live about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor, and I just talked to them. Apparently one of their friends is a Real Estate agent that has very recently been showing some extremely high end houses to a "Mrs. Harbaugh." I am still not going to be convinced until it's a done deal, but the stars seem to be aligning at this point... (crosses fingers and prays...)

Nothing posted on this board since Hoke was fired has been anything but "Typical Bullshit" like Jim Harbaugh wears a Michigan shirt to alumni day means he's coming to Michigan, or look at his body language he's coming to Michigan. He didn't use the word "no" he's coming to Michigan.
I'm not saying it's true, but I find it comical that another unsubstantiated rumor comes out with as much credibility as any of the others and the board chooses to dismiss it.

I'll be honest, wouldn't have guessed that of all the places that would be rumored - as this thread was bound to appear - it would eminate from 20 minutes north of campus, so about Whitmore Lake....maybe Green Oak Township....that sort of area. Figured on the real estate thread, but impressed by the first vague geographic descriptor.

Thank god the WL school system just got merged into Ann Arbor's.

I live in Brighton, at the times of day that Jim would be commuting, (i.e. before morning rush and after evening) it can be a 15-20 minute drive. There is some money moving into the area, some big houses being built, a few gated communities, Brighton has a small but very nice downtown. My home is modest but I have started seeing more and more signs of big wealth moving in - Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, an Audi R8 are all starting to pop up. More buotique shops. Not to give any creedance to the rumor but I wouldn't rule it out based on the area he's looking.

That could describe a lot of places. I live between Dexter and Pinckney and there are a lot of filthy rich neighborhoods up here, and I would consider it 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor.

Fun fact - House Hunters is all fake. Read a story on it about a year ago and they don't do the show unless the people have already picked a house out and then they throw in 2 other houses to fill out the show.
That said HH International is still 1 of my fav shows. :)

because there is no way I can confirm that the information is true. Third or fourth hand "information" from random anonymous people isn't really information, but gossip.
Sorry that you are upset about this, but there is much bullshit out there right now. People have the right to be cynical. I'm sure you are well-meaning, but I don't believe that your information is correct.
