[Eric Upchurch]
Two options: audio on WTKA, or video at MLive. It's also on BTN if you have access to a TV.

He's also more thoughtful and mindful.

Earlier this afternoon, the MICHIGAN MAN was drowned in one of Hackett's SWIMLANES

BTN crew just said that Hackett even invited Brady to the Football Bust next week - not sure if he'll show, but definitely a great gesture to show that his work has been appreciated and give him a chance to go out on something of a positive.

...just keep josh groban out of there.

might be weird for Brady, but I guarantee you the seniors will all be texting him / calling him begging him to show up

He's a grown man...and he believes the stuff he spouts (which is a compliment). He'll be there, there will be tears, there will be laughs, there will be hugs...and likely a standing ovation. As there should be.
Winner or loser - this is his team and he deserves to share that night with them. As does his family.
They've shed blood, sweet and tears for this University and this team. I'm happy they'll be able to see it through to the end.

Brady should be invited and I hope he goes. Hackett nailed it--Hoke embodies the character and integrity Michigan requires from its HC. He has done an admirable job helping young men grow into the Leaders and Best of tomorrow.

Brandon had some stellar pressers early on too but man... that answer about having a "Michigan Man"... On. Point.
Kudos to you Mr. Hackett.

Michigan Man is now trending on twitter. Lol. Love it. Hackett killed it when talking about it needs to go away and exactly what it means. Now go get Harbaugh or Miles and complete the trifecta.

Yay, "Michigan Man" is dead!
Now, let's hire a former Michigan player!

That photo though...
Makes him look like an aged Brando in a tracksuit doing an impression of himself as Vito Corleone

probably get lost in this thread but it deserves all the upvotes. Laughed out loud @ work

the Michigan Man answer might have been the best thing I've heard in 5 years.

C'mon Hackett, make Stitt Happen!

I was pleased that Hackett underscored the necessity of achievement. We as current students or alumni are each assessed according to our performances. Brady Hoke strived and he failed, which means he was trying hard enough to win. I sincerely wish Coach Hoke the very best in his new endeavors. For Michigan Football the hard work is just beginning but we are up to snuff, leaders and best.

I loved his take on "Michigan Man" and only slightly less loved him bitch-slapping Drew Sharp's stupid question. And the swinging pendulum physics analogy was great because I am a nerd engineer.

it's like he read my mind!

clear spoken, professional, paid respects to Brady and for petes sake finally said what all us were thinking about the Michigan man stuff.
Well done.
Go find us a good one.

Please MGoBlog switch out the stock Hackett picture. Looks like an evil villian from one of the lesser James Bond flicks. Save this one for when we all turn on him like a pack of wild dogs.

Congratulations Calvin!

The DB presser was low hanging fruit (and how I hate buzz phrases).. today, there were a million ways for it to look bad, and Hackett nailed it beautifully. He seems genuine.

I was impressed with Hackett's press conference and leaving it at that. Let's move forward!!!
Looking forward to the next press conference where we are announcing a coach. Then, maybe we can focus on recruiting....

defense into short fields. To do what he does on offense - dictates a certain defense. Stitt needs to be the HC wherever he goes.
