-126 points. Yep, you will do quite well here.

Because your history of trolling speaks for itself. I'll be waiting for 1929 to pop up, although I'm crossing my fingers for an IP ban.

Also quit with the crab pants bitching. Being so negative in early august is annoying as fuck

You are a total douchebag. What's that like?

Trolling isn't even remotely honest.

Was it designed that way by Nuss? Maybe. I grant you that but then again maybe it wasn't and speaks to the fact that the o-line hasn't improved at all. I'm in no position to speak to which one it truly is, but if I had to guess...seeing as this is a hype video, I'd guess the later given last year's performance. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. It just wasn't something I was thrilled aeeing

I'm not saying there's room to grow, there is. I'm saying your pissing and moaning isn't needed

I'm cautiously pessimistic...Shocker!

I at least feel somewhat better about our offense in general going into 2014. Call it unfounded optimism, if you want to.
At least someone reads my posts.

reminds me a lot of my JV baseball coach who I regard as the best coach I ever played for. Both are not afraid to get on your ass a little bit especially when you are having trouble doing what was asked, but the pointed statements were never ever personal attacks nor were demeaning. They were just about fundamentals and technique and calling on you, the player, directly, to do the job better.
I also like the "80% throw". That makes a lot of sense to me thinking of golf swings and just the approach to the game using numbers. Its much more exacting than "throw it softer".
Nuss is going to need some aloe for the throat, LOL. I think this was spring practice most likely. I am betting that Shane Morris is going to emerge as quite a polished QB next season with all this drilling...and I would be happy to have him as a standby backup in case DG were to get injured.
Agree very much with your first paragraph. I think that's the way to do it. I could see Mr. Kelly at ND being the opposite in terms of making it personal - that said the dude gets results too.

Sounds like my prom night.
Wait, what? You went to the prom with your high school coach?

I am more confident in Nuss. Can't wait.

Based on track record Nuss is a good QB coach. The OC part is obviously more difficult to tell just because we don't know what he wants to be - I am sure Saban micromanaged the hell out of him. On offense IMO we have 1 excellent position coach in Heck (he seems to take guys to their full potential whatever that potential may be) and 2 guys who are more questionable in Funk and Jackson; of course their 2 jobs go hand in hand. But it's been a while since we've really seen a RB "develop" - I don't know if Mike Hart straight off the bus being the bomb can be credited to Jackson and since then its been a long string of meh. But we've always had great OL coaching pre RR era so I hope Funk is a victim of circumstance. It worries me a guy straight out of HS is looking as polished as guys under Funk for 2 years.

Man I love these countdowns! So ready for the season to start!
Nuss is intense and instills a sense of urgency that the program needs desperately. Sure, it's only a practice video, but if it represents the lessons that are being drilled into the players' heads every day, there is reason to be hopeful.
Go Blue!
I'm a believer.
my old coach used to yell like that.. loud enough that you heard him, but soft enough to not make you feel like a piece of shit.
Twice as productive!? Holy crap! You mean he's going to have 5,920yds passing, 42 passing td's, 6 interceptions, 966yds rushing, and 22 rushing td's!?!? MNC here we come!!! Hello Heisman!!
I have similar feelings. If he's successful I'm hoping we can keep him by bumping up the pay and making him HC in waiting or something.

Exactly what I've been saying since he was hired. At his initial introduction press conference he talked a good bit about wanting to be a head coach. With his current resume and a turn around for the Michigan offense I think it's safe to say that he will be getting offers to leave at the end of next year. I don't think the HC in waiting will work with Nuss bc Hoke is still young and it's his dream job and Nuss knows that. I do hope we can keep him for at least 2 seasons because I would hate to have to transition again to another new OC.
Great video ... it got me even more excited about the season.
The snippet that caught my eye was his coaching Morris on getting elevation on his pass to get over the linebacker, not through him.
