Wayyy OT: Did anyone else hear the Halloween theme in the music during the CBS broadcast of OSU vs. Indiana? It was the "filler music" during game broadcast but before gameplay.

Edit: about 20, 30 minutes ago (should have asked then)

The number of people trying to force racism into this is weird. Deions got a pretty annoying schtick. Just blindly saying people who don’t like Deion are racist is a lazy attempt to dismiss that

I can understand that his personality can rub people the wrong way but It seems disingenuous from a fanbase whose coach shares similar traits - unorthodox media presence and recruiting, obsession with detail, and fanatical devotion to winning.

There was no buzz around CU football and now there is.

How about Shedeur Sanders though. That young man is a fucking baller. Travis Hunter was the #1 recruit and going two ways is impressive, but the talent was always evident. But Sanders...wow

Its one game.

But, it was a hell of a win for that program

I'd have to go through the names on the transfer portal, but undoubtedly, there's talent at the key positions.

Not sure what happened in Colorado to cause that outburst on "HCBU players", but it's a bit disingenuous as Sanders and Hunter...Edwards was a 4 star, top 133 kid. These kids could have gone to other top programs.

Great win for Colorado - they definitely have my attention

I'm not on the Deion hype train.

TCU did lose a lot from the team that went to the NC game last year.

But Colorado returned only 10 scholarship players from a 1 win team; 68 new scholarship players on the Buffalos...

Winning on the road against a ranked team with a new team, players and coaches is a good win

Good win. I thought they’d get blown out.

Good game plan that papered over their depth and lines. TCU played into their hands and Travis Hunter played 120 snaps. Shadeur and the skill talent were awesome. TCU didn’t try to bully them. The size difference never mattered oddly. Can’t believe the same TCU staff that beat us put that game plan together.

I love the flavor Coach Prime brings to the sport. He can coach as he showed at Jackson State. He can recruit as he showed at Jackson State.

Now he has to win at Colorado. Yesterday was a fantastic start. Up next: Nebraska. Interesting contrasts of styles.

They looked better than expected, but it's clear that TCU is just not a good team. They only return 3 starters from last year and Chad Morris a clear downgrade from Duggan. Dude was missing open pass badly

I will be interested in how Jackson State does as well (won their opener - check / getting smushed by Florida A&M (same team they beat 59-3 last year ... hmm). Payback in the SWAC? Colorado is getting some buzz...  but football is often not about football (and this story is about way more than the x's and o's.) I would like to see how he deals with adversity.  Their schedule is potentially deadly. Who's going to get called out then? If he wins out... pay the man.

A win is a win is a win. So good on Colorado.

Edit: JSU played well in the second half vs. Florida A&M. Whatever Sanders left at Jackson State, it's a better program for his having been there. I was concerned that it would fall apart but not so immediately at least, and not due to Sanders' departure.
