really guys, we couldn't skip the high fives?
April 13th, 2020 at 10:16 PM ^
I saw a lot of low fives, and he was wearing gloves. Hopefully they're practicing social distancing in the dugout.

It may be China but I have to think they're keeping all employees of this league under lock and key like WWE.

It’s Taiwan, where they understand how to deal with this.

Awesome. Bedtime. I miss UM baseball. They play the game and don't expect the limelight.

I literally go into every obscure titled thread thinking somehow it has to deal with Christopher committing

First homerun "anywhere" in 2020 is a bit presumptuous. Our softball league managed to play 3 games before being shutdown and there were plenty of HR's.

Are any other professional leagues around the world going right now?

Belarusian Premier League soccer. And fans are even attending the games! Slavia and Ruh Brest played to a nil-nil draw earlier today.
Also Nicaragua's premier soccer league, and Tajikistani basketball.
Tajikistan reports .... and I'm sure this is correct .... zero confirmed CV cases as of April 13. So let the sports go on!

Even Vlad thinks Luka is crazy.

I've been waiting on twitter all day, just waiting for Josh to commit to Michigan. I heard he was going to make his announcement at 8:24 PM PDT or 11:24 PM EDT to honor Kobe. It may be pretty close between Michigan and ASU (where his Brother plays).

Pirates and Orioles. Starting off with Interleague play, a 1979 rematch.

I wonder if they are still doing stadium sounds, walk-up music, etc. I'm just visualizing Mariano Rivera coming in to close a game with "enter sandman" bumping and no one in attendance.
Either way, great to see some live sports that isn't a H-O-R-S-E competition shot on an IPhone 3.

I don't care what you have to say, I've been a diehard Chinatrust Brothers fan my entire life. Go CTBros!

Why is there a P.A. announcer?
April 13th, 2020 at 11:18 PM ^
They had a PA Announcer at the White Sox/Orioles no fan game a few years ago too. It is odd.

Oh crud, Josh just committed to ASU! Boy we really can never have nice things again!
