Refs making sure the local fans will be buying em’ some Surley IPAs at the local hangouts after the game....
February 21st, 2019 at 8:55 PM ^
Hmmm...amazingly I feel more comfortable with Simpson at the line than anyone else...
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Who would ever thought that. I agree completely though.
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Solid win. Conference road wins are like
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Way to ruin the pretty score refs, you fuckers.
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Beat the spread though so all good!
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Big shot by a scrub keeps Minnesota from a 10pt loss (apparently a marker for NET rankings)
February 21st, 2019 at 8:56 PM ^
Minnesota and the refs really made this game longer than needed
February 21st, 2019 at 8:57 PM ^
When’s the last time Michigan made more three-pointers than twos?
February 21st, 2019 at 8:57 PM ^
Good solid win. Built a nice lead, then took control down the stretch.
Well done, boys - Go Blue!
February 21st, 2019 at 8:57 PM ^
Glad that's over.

A 20+ point win until zebra interference
February 21st, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
Poole going 1-4 from the line certainly didn't help either. That's on Pitino for trying to keep the score "respectable" even when the game was clearly over.
February 21st, 2019 at 8:58 PM ^
Is Pitino the least respectable coach in the league, after Izzo the Enabler of course?
February 21st, 2019 at 9:06 PM ^
Collins for being a tool, and Gard for coaching disgusting and unwatchable basketball
Also Archie Miller gives me major creepy vibes. Looks simultaneously like a 6 year old boy from the 18th century and also a modern day 50 year old
February 21st, 2019 at 9:19 PM ^
Had me laughing. So many schmucks in the league.
February 22nd, 2019 at 12:27 AM ^
The Archie Miller comment made me laugh. I have a friend who has a relative who played for Archie at UD. My friend doesn't think much of the man...
February 21st, 2019 at 8:58 PM ^
Shitty end to an otherwise solid performance.
February 21st, 2019 at 8:58 PM ^
Poole needs to make his free throws.
February 21st, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
Nice win bring on Sparty!!
February 21st, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
Over/under was 131. Valiant attempt by the officials, but they fell three points short of getting the over.

Need to learn how to close out games better. We always keep teams in the game.
February 21st, 2019 at 9:04 PM ^
24-3.
Your act is tired.
February 21st, 2019 at 9:24 PM ^
The last time Michigan lost a game where they had a lead with less than 5 minutes left was the first Purdue game last year. Over 13 months ago.

Scorching!

False...Bill Walton is on air with Dave Pasch calling this USC-Oregon game and it's always fantastic to listen to the ramblings of a seemingly mental patient
February 21st, 2019 at 9:11 PM ^
Walton: "the epic battle for 5th, 6th, and 7th place!!!!"
February 21st, 2019 at 9:17 PM ^
...in the Conference of Champions!
/camera pans to the sideline where Pasch and Walton are sitting wait nope Walton is standing and commentating on-air 2 feet behind USC coach Andy Enfield

Another beautiful, gritty win! Z with 5, 6, 12 A, 3 steals. JP found his shot (we all knew it was coming soon). Coach B owns all Pitinos. Remember when he handed dirty Rick a loss in his final game as a college coach? I do!

I personally think Minnesota basketball is ten times worse to watch than Wisconsin basketball. Minnesota has managed to take shooting the basketball - what heretofore I had thought was integral to the game - out of the game basically. It’s like five bulls in a China shop. I like beating Little Ricky and his ugly ass brand of basketball.
February 21st, 2019 at 9:28 PM ^
You’re right about Wisconsin - I can’t stand their flopping but they can at least shoot the ball. Minnesota has nothing on offense that’s semi-enjoyable to watch. It’s just plow ahead and pray for a foul, offensive rebound or highly contested circus shot to go in. Oh and fuck little Richie and his scum bag dad.

Teske has to take those 3 pointers. If he makes them...great. If he misses, you got to live with it. He has to be a threat outside because Z/X is on the floor.
There is no other option but for him to shoot it. I was proud of him for not being deterred. This is a big positive that he understands he has to shoot for this offense to run. Coach knows it. I know it. Players know it. Opponents know it.
Everyone talks about developing the bench but just as important is developing Teske from the 3 point line. If he goes 0-10 then so be it.
February 21st, 2019 at 9:33 PM ^
Luckily he went 3-6.
February 22nd, 2019 at 7:49 AM ^
This offense is predicated on taking the open shot. We tend to “over-pass” the basketball looking for an even better shot. Gotta take shots when they’re open. Good to see Teske doing that. To me, it’s been Brooks’ undoing. Early in the season, he took open shots and made some. Now, he won’t take them. Matthews and Iggy have both been through stretches where they won’t take open shots. The more we play, the harder it will be to find open shots, so we need to take them. Much better job vs. Minnesota. Go Blue! Beat Moo U!

Great win last night , now the big one , this will be telling

Go Blue! Gearing up for the late season push!
