Nobody on the team is a pure scorer and we don’t have a bench for when a couple guys are off. This is where failing to blow out teams is biting us because those guys never got to develop and it’s going to stunt our development this year. I’d honestly take some losses now to get those guys experience for a tourney run, not going to beat MSU for the conference

No way this is a top ten team anymore. Where did UM start going wrong? Seems they have been on a slight downward trajectory for weeks. I hope they recumbobulate (sp?) soon.

Wins are wins. No one on the selection committee or anyone outside of Michigan fandom will remember this game or how ice cold our shooting was in about a week.

Sometimes even the great teams have to win really ugly games. Take the win, learn from it, and move on. Remember Beilein’s teams usually don’t start peaking until about a few weeks from now. Beilein will get the ship righted as much as he can.

ya.. this is a problem that Beilein will need to figure out. too much iso ball on offense with no fluid ball movement. As of right now Michigan St is by far the best team in the Big 10, and you can argue that maryland is playing better than michigan right now. Luckily beilein will adjust and figure out the problem. This team will be ready for march, Im just not confident they go far. They look like a team that can make a final 4 but at the same time I can see them getting knocked out the first weekend.

The horrific shooting by Iggy, JP and CM is killing this team.

I know Iggy had 18 tonight, but 9 came at the FT line and he shot 4-18 from the field.  And...I get CM hit the game-winner...BUT, these 3 went a combined 8-31 (that's barely over 25%)

And...I love X/Z as much as the next guy, but he was 3-11 tonight.

26% shooting, by 4 of your starters, equals major trouble...
