Harbaugh should have fired him with the rest of Hokes coaches when he came in. But Benedict Mattison had worked with his dad and brother so they kept him on. Obviously a mistake. The guy was harboring resentment the whole 4 years.

I can buy the San Antonio story, which looks pretty bad...however I thought I read he was going to get paid $1.5M to be the D-Coordinator there. No way we were going to pay him that just to be a D-Line coach.

We were down in Punta Cana last week and of course I was wearing a lot of M t-shirts. Got a lot of “Go Blue” comments but had a few OSU, “F off”, comments as well. Really crude, classless. It was embarrassing in front of my wife.

Poor buckeye fans are lost in the winter. Used to be able to put on their partially burned LeBron jerseys for a few months before the warriors inevitably crapped on them, but now they don't even have that. I guess they can go watch Justin Fields highlights for the next 8 months

It's not a total surprise other than Rutgers. Osu is a pretty average team with 1 really good player in Wesson. You stop them from scoring over 70 and it's a pretty easy team to beat. I think they make the tourney just barely, but get bounced in game 1.

Yeah, Kenpom has them in the mid-30s. Maryland is #17, and getting better as they gain more confidence. Their game against Sparty should be a good one and I’m liking the Fernandez/Ward matchup. Cowan should also tucker Winston out by forcing him to play a lot of D against a faster player. OSU is, as noted above, a middle-of-the-pack B1G team at best.
