Since Northwestern, Michigan has been doing nothing but gutting out games to much weaker teams. Until they re-figure out their offense and stop going on multiple-minute scoring droughts, this is who they are.

No doubt. It may be that they played a bit over their heads offensively in the early season. Realistically, Michigan has one guy who can effectively create his own shot whenever he wants - Poole.
Everyone else has offensive limitations and this is definitely Michigan’s worst three point shooting team in a few years.

Iggy’s lack of elite athleticism is really showing tonight. First step not quick enough to blow past defenders and vertical leap not high enough to effectively shoot over top of guys when he drives.

the D from both teams has been pretty damn good. very few easy looks.

Agreed. Defense on both ends has been very good.
This is a game where Matthews driving ability is needed, but he still doesn’t have a left hand which is a problem.

i don't want matthews to become alpha dog on O though. that's when bad things happen. he's best getting a pass in space. unfortunately, psu is staying in front of the guards really well when they drive.
