I think it's because he's so strident. He's obviously very knowledgeable of the game, it's history, players, coaches, etc., but he's so boisterous and arrogant with how he presents everything. Like when he says with complete confidence that a shot isn't going in...

They'll be back after the first loss. Some people forget, but that was Maizen's original jam - he complained INCESSANTLY about Beilein and blew some pretty loud dog whistles about the types of guys he recruited and why that didn't make Michigan "tough". He was our own Maverick Morgan.

Good comfortable win. We controlled the game and did what we needed to do. Indiana will be tougher, especially without Livers.

Missing layups and dunks is my major pet peeve. Wish they could break that habit but otherwise it's good to keep winning!

Came back from the game impressed by the methodical, grinding, sometimes ugly winter break effort. We are miles ahead of last year
Playing two weeks against zone defenses and then matching up against a very good defensive man to man team and great defensive rebounding team was always going to be a challenge, especially early on.
Playing with out Livers, having several rim roll outs, and not really getting any 50/50 calls ( I'm being nice) and still the game outcome never felt in doubt due to our strong defense.
Poole is becoming one of my all time favorite players and did so many good things on the court. Love this team!

You know what i love about this team ? Watching half way thru the first half and saying to myself "damn Michigan has a good team,with Simpson,Iggy and Poole" then while im watching i see Mathews steal break away dunk,and i say "oh shit i forgot about Mathews too we are loaded" three minutes later one of the announcers says "Livers" isnt playing tonight ...Oh yeah we have Livers too the starting PF
