How does everyone feel about chaos

Oklahoma loses to Texas, UCF loses to Memphis, OSU loses to Northwestern, Clemson loses to Pitt, and Georgia gets its doors blown off by Bama. How do you feel about Michigan backing in to the playoffs?

I could only root for that if Ohio State played first.  Since they're the last game of the day, I have to root for Oklahoma, Georgia, Clemson, and UCF.

Well, last year #5 OSU was in the Cotton Bowl, #6 Wisconsin played in the Orange Bowl and #9 PSU was in the Fiesta Bowl. None of those bowls have conference tie-ins so they can mostly do what they want except the best G5 team gets in one of them if it's ranked high enough. (This year the Fiesta would have to take them.)

Michigan plays Washington in 2020-2021.  And we all know how Michigan does out west.  I'd rather just play LSU or Florida.

I’d be interested in playing LSU, but not Florida. Third time in four years we’d be playing them. Just want something new. I also think it would be a very welcome matchup for our defense to play a sluggish pro style offense after getting boat raced by a high powered spread team.

Stop this bullshit.  Please.   It's been discussed so many times. Here is a synopsis. We don't deserve it .The end

Even if Oklahoma, OSU and/or Clemson lost today, they’d still go before Michigan. Same or better records, head to head and championship game appearances.

It just some desperate homers hoping for some things to happen that wouldn't even be fair or right.

Imagine if Michigan had blown out OSU and then lost to NW in the Big 10 Championship game. Most of us would feel that we should still stay ahead of OSU in the final playoff rankings.

We would be saying. "We finished with a better record and we totally destroyed them on the field."

Case closed.

Some of you would rather not go to the playoff?

RU fucking kidding me?

It becomes obvious who has never played a sport with some of these comments.  Unbelievable.

Well, most Michigan fans would want the team to go to the playoff. Though it's about accepting when the team doesn't deserve to be in the playoff and it being wrong and unfair if they were included.

There's just no scenario that rightfully places Michigan ahead of OSU in the final playoff rankings.

Sometimes people have to realize when their opinions are unjust and wrongfully bias, but it's often difficult for some people to do it.

I don’t it’s not happening.  There will be no upsets today the teams that are favored will all cover, and Michigan will go to the #overrated bowl and get their ass kicked.

I don’t know. Almost don’t care. The BPONE is strong in me ever since last Saturday.

Wouldn't at all surprise me to see OSU sneak in, shock the world again by beating Bama, and then knocking off Clemson by double digits to win it all. And then we show up flat in Pasadena and lose yet another big game on national television.

Getting in is the only thing. You can't win if you aren't in and anything can happen in any game. Any way Michigan gets in is ok with me. Next best is no OSU. and y'all put too much stock in the results of one game.

Michigan won't make it in regardless if this happens. Especially since IF this happens, the loser probably wouldn't have been blown out.

The last thing EVERYBODY saw of Michigan was getting waxed by a relatively bad OSU team. Michigan ain't getting in not matter what.

Let's hope for a NY6 against a good opponent.

I am rooting for Michigan to make the playoffs. Despite being upset about not playing well last week, we can still beat anyone in the country and win the national championship, if the ball bounces right. It baffles me that “fans” would be too scared to play in the playoffs. What is the point of the season, if you don’t want to play for a chance to win it all?

Think about how down on the team some fans were at certain points of the basketball season last year?  That team made it to the national championship. I’m glad some of the people on this site are not Michigan coaches.

We will have the best resume of any two loss team if Northwestwen, Texas, and Alabama win today. Only having lost to two top 6 teams, both on the road. I hope we get in and get a chance to win it all.

Jesus dude. I respect the faith, but Michigan was clearly the worse team against OSU and ND. I don't think destroying PSU shows they can best anybody in the country.

Just regroup and come back stronger. Also, you can't compare football to basketball. Two totally different sports. There's a reason why Bama wins every title and teams like Duke and Kentucky don't win it all the time.

Its unpopular I’m sure, but let Ohio State in. Go ahead. I wanna play in the Rose Bowl and watch Ohio State get licked by Bama. It’s a total win-win. I would feel a lot better about the season if it finished in the Granddaddy than if it’s was another ho hum win over Florida in a southern bowl game.

Well, we're certainly not backing into them given the early results, and I wouldn't necessarily want to do so anyway. Call me strange, but I'd rather earn my shot to get obliterated by Alabama outright.
