They did not lead the entire game, they were losing for a good portion of the 2nd half before Kenny Allen kicked a damn near 50 year FG. Scoring 13 points on the road and overthrowing multiple wide open WR is not getting it done. There was no momentum. The offense couldn't move the ball all night and a lot of that was because the QB was below average.

In the 2016 season, Speight took us to the Orange Bowl. You,  Diagonal, were otherwise occupied sticking crayons up your nose and missed this achievement. For your own good and that of this board, please let the doctors remove them.

We went to the Orange Bowl in spite of Speight not because of him. Amazing how history keeps getting rewritten by some on here. Harbaugh was so done with Speight he brought in Shea Patterson this year because he knew he couldn't win with him.

Speight was on the the heisman watch list prior to the Iowa game was having a 1st team all BIG season prior to the Iowa game.  He was playing great. It's not Harbaugh fault walker couldn't cut it in the class room.   QB development has been very good Ruddock and Speight performed great their first years.  Peters looks like a miss however Patterson and Mcaffery have turned out great.   Diagnol blue why do you post here and follow this team?

Your posts are bad.

Higdon--Very good player

Deveon Smith--Solid productive player

Tru Wilson--solid productive player

Chris Evans--Solid productive player

Additionally, you referenced guys who were brought in more as athletes than RBs.(Haskins/Barrett)

You consistently shitty posts. We'll call you DysenteryBlue from now.

Haskins and Barrett were both brought in as RB's don't kid yourself. Smith was a Hoke recruit and I said Evans was a nice player but he is miscast as a RB and he should probably be playing slot WR.  He can't run between the tackles. Finally, if you're citing a walkon RB who gets a couple carries a game as something to hang your hat on while programs like UGA are trotting out backfields with guys like Gurley, Michel, Chubb, and Swift then that really shows how delusional this fan base is about what it takes to win a national title.

You know whats consistently shitty? Losing to OSU every year and not winning a big ten title in 15 years while all everyone does on this board is defend the players and coaches responsible for that.

You’re an idiot. Higdon was the first commit, and he just was first team BIG. Evans has has a better career than most RB recruits, including folks like Max Martin and Kevin Grady and Derrick...what was Mr. Twinkle Toes  name?

Evans better than Sam McGuffie’s career.

Rarely has Michigan had a first or second year RB be the workhorse. Chris Perry was not Chris Perry as an underclassmen.

Chris Howard was never the best, but he barely touched the field in first two years.

O’Maury may pan, or maybe he gets it together.

We alsonhad Ty Isaac. But sure, name all the ones that don’t work out and insult the ones who do. That’s your MO.

Dude...you kinda need to move on.  Michigan is 38-13 in four years and ascending.  Frustrating they’re not 51-0, but come on man.  Everyone but Michigan fans hate Michigan and teams bring their A game against UM every game.  There is no entitlement. You got to work. The days of Michigan giving 49 points against Houston and taking Michigan to cover are over. (I took Michigan in that game btw and won) Things are more balanced with the exception of Alabama,  Clemson and freaking OSU.

There sure are a bunch of awful takes here. Sure, it would be nice to have Gray. However, Michigan's RB room will be in very good shape next year. Anyone, and I do mean ANYONE, who believes this is a make or break deal...well, it simply is not so. Otherwise, I would be very happy if they got that Williams kid out of Florida!

No, but even Beilein adopted a recruiting strategy of taking mostly top 100 guys. DeJulius, Castelton, Johns, and Brazdeikis are all top 100 guys. So are Xavier Simpson, Charles Matthews, Isiah Livers, and Jordan Poole. Teske and Brooks are the only guys in the rotation who weren't. Bajema and Wilson next year are both top 100 guys.

Adopted a strategy?  Do you really think these kids can be made to commit?  If they could get all 5 stars, they would probably do that.

And yes, it is you...  You post the exact same shit, just under a different name.  It's so obvious, it's funny.

It has taken nearly a decade for Coach B to consistently get those top 100s. He won early with guys like Stu Douglass and has to take guys like Blake McLimans. You have some seriously selective evidence. It’s as if you’re afraid to acknowledge that Coach B used to not have a chance at any top guys until he started taking early looks at the GR3s of the world who were under the radar when they committed.

I thought Gray had already officially decommitted.

As for DJ Williams, he's got offers from Auburn, Texas, Tennessee, SC, Miami, and Georgia.

I predict the response here will be that they're really non-committable offers.

What?!?!?  Where did this come from?  I thought this guy was rock solid?  I swear this Ohio State loss is going to kill this recruiting class!
