Bowl Game

What’s your thoughts on  the over under on players going pro not playing in whatever bowl game M goes to?   After Jake Butt it would not shock me to see at least a couple. Thoughts?

Whoever is in their last season I want to see their future replacement get a 1 quarter to play if it's the Rose Bowl and any other Bowl game give the back ups a half of "real" game action in this fancy exhibition game. For guys that sit out to protect themselves for the draft I'd like to see a rotation of different guys.

Any game action is a positive and the game tape from a quality opponent in a Bowl game is a good thing to analyze for off-season training.

As of 11/24 at 10 PM CT

CBS Sports: Rose Bowl v. Washington

SI: Peach Bowl v. LSU

C'mon dude, that's bullshit. This team exceeded expectations all year after the first game.  Unfortunately the lethal combination of kool-aid sport writers were pouring to the players, a weak game plan and a forgettable second half defensive approach sunk the playoff and big 10 opportunities.

I'm as pissed as anybody after that game, but to say they don't deserve a bowl when MSU squeaks out a win against Rutger and will go to a bowl with 7 weak wins, not jiving in my brain.

Anybody going into the draft should sit. The bowl game is likely to be meaningless and a loss, Jim hasn’t been able to win those either. Use the practices and get better. That’s it

I think most with a chance to be drafted will leave this year. Next year will be another rebuilding year. We'll probably lose on the road to WI and PSU and OSU will win at our place once again. Probably finish the year at 9-3 and get another trip to one of the New Years Day FL bowls.

I work from home and make 86 million dollars an hour by simply praying to Odin that we can we have a football staff that doesn't eat dog shit tacos fur breakfast.

Who cares... I pump $ into this hot mess and we are not even competitive. Problem is ..our coach is the best we can even get. Zero upside.

I mean, you say that like it's a bad thing instead of an inherent fact of nature. There are only like 5 guys who are unarguably better than Harbaugh in the country (Saban, Dabo, Meyer, Petersen, Jimbo), at worst he's a top 10-15 coach. Hiring is a crap shoot and for every Lincoln Riley and Kirby Smart there are dozens of Muschamps and Kiffins.

Harbaugh isn't the best we can do because we're lazy or cheap or not trying. He's the best we can do because he's good. It's an absolute tragedy that elite coaches don't just pop up on the market every day and it's even sadder that OSU got to benefit from that happening when they fired Tressel (fwiw, I feel like if we had Tressel there in his late Lloyd Carr years rn we would have won 3 in a row).

I think we need to practice more.  We suck and we pay for this.

Who has got it better than us. I woke up today today looking at a maize & blue sky and then realized we were jobbed again.

Please take my.money so we can lose again ... pathetically and with brainless balls.
