I don't think people have read the Big Ten release close enough (especially reporters tweeting it out). The ENTIRE MSU football team was reprimanded. THE ENTIRE TEAM. Talk about salt in the wound.

This was separate from the reprimands for Mark Dantonio, Devin Bush, and Jim Harbaugh.

MSU has many problems. I grew up in California and came to Michigan for my PhD. I'm not joking when I say this - I had never even heard of MSU until I got to Ann Arbor, and I'm pretty sure that most of my friends and family back home haven't either.
The place is irrelevant and scummy. Their fans are exactly what I would expect out of a podunk shithole school.
I was at an academic conference right after "the punt". Some really senior (deadwood probably) guy spies my badge, sees Michigan, and runs up and yells right in my face "Woo MSU owns you!" At this point I was a PhD student (faculty now). My department was ranked probably top 5 (maybe top 3), and this asshole's department would be lucky to be ranked top 50. I just looked at him, said "Little Brother", and turned and walked away.
That was my first ever Sparty encounter.

On RCMB they're pushing to not pay the fine. I hope they don't. I hope this thing stays in the news for months.
The coach's reactions tell all. If Harbaugh weren't supremely confidant in his program's dominance over State he would be far more measured. If Dantonio had any confidence he would have said something like "We'll meet them again next year" and that would be it. But this isn't five years ago and his response has been as bad as Hoke's were.

I am so sick of pussy ass statements like this. It should have stopped after it stated that MSU fucked up. Instead, the B1G felt the need to reprimand both sides. What's the point of the statement?
I'm glad that Bush did what he did and I'm even more proud of Harbaugh for his comments and his double-down when asked about it again.
I guess I should let God figure this out, but I just can't stand the PC environment anymore!

To me, this statement vindicates Harbaugh - they explicitly call out Dantonio for "smiling 5 yards behind it all".
I'm completely fine with what Bush did. I'm also fine with the reprimand of his actions; he wasn't defending himself anymore and it's a slap on the wrist (if that).
The only thing I don't understand is the Harbaugh reprimand. Apparently, calling MSU out for is wrong, even though the B1G just agreed that he was correct.

Sorry, I didn't meant to imply that those words were literally in the B1G statement. Rather, their reprimand was for Harbaugh's version of events - Dantonio was right there, and did not stop his players from marching through. That made him at fault.

I think it’s pretty clear that he’s effectively leaned on the B1G to get some reffing parity.
Im totally fine with Harbaugh though. Mork is an asshole and he needed to get blasted for it, for once.
