It's that time again... Wife's Day!!!
That's right. It's time to show the better half a little love and appreciation for your mania and all around absence on Saturday afternoons and evenings. And the way things have been lately on the field, I'm guessing that some legit sacrifice is in order for most of us. What's on your list?
Fortunately, my day involves something I've had pegged on my own to-do list for some time--get the garden and garage ready for winter.
Good luck!

We are going to a birthday party for my niece, who is turning 3. Probably do a bit of shopping and cooking as well.

Jeez. I can’t stop watching that video.

Pretty nice little Saturday; we're going to go to Home Depot. Get some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed Bath & Beyond; I don't know. I don't know if we'll have enough time.

1. "There's a home and garden show" .....when do we get to leave?
2. "I would like to have a progressive dinner tonight. How about we park downtown, take a Lyft to the first restaurant for drinks and appetizers, get a Lyft to the next restaurant for a nice dinner with wine, and then take another Lyft to a dessert and drink place. It'll be fun".....what should I wear?
3. "I want to work outside and get the yard ready after the game".......that sounds great!
4. "My Mom wants to move up by us because she's getting older and can't drive anymore."......delay......delay......"oh that's good, we can keep a close eye on her and visit more often! (try not to display sarcasm and eye rolling.....so very hard......I can do this......

No wife, happy life.

Don't tell your wife about Wife Day. She's been looking forward to it.
She invited her sister and mother, who by the way are huge Michigan State fans (her mom practically worships Kirk Cousins) over for the weekend. They are going to be getting their nails done, shopping, seeing a chick flick, and going out to eat while I get to watch my 2 year old at home, which I already do 5 days a week during the day before working in the evenings.

Wait is this another BS hallmark holiday? My wife is fully appreciated and does not need some faux holiday to know that.
Enjoy sweetest's day too while you're at it.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

It's BS! Even Mork agrees

That's what I'm saying. I'm a productive member of my relationship six days a week during the season and every day outside of it. I can have one day a week to myself for a few months and not feel like I owe my wife.

Or find yourself a wife who is just as sad as you are that Michigan has a bye this week!
We’re headed to the east side of the state to celebrate my husband’s birthday with his family. We’re thinking of hitting up the Towsley Museum on our way over, since there’s no game to watch.

Recently separated. House sold today. It’s good-bye week

There's 253 days (hopefully 250 this year) a year to appreciate your wife. This has got to be one of the most annoying Mgotraditions.

Uh...I was expecting the full preview?
Also, it's not even close to Saturday yet...

Going to the bay area so that my girlfriend can visit a friend of hers whose father recently passed away. I will spend some solo time so that they can visit: taking an early morning tour of Alcatraz, going to the Stanford/Washington State football game, and hitting up some of the areas fine craft breweries.
My congratulations to all happy men on this day! It is a great opportunity to recollect the old days when you were so young and romantic. I wish you good luck and hope this day will be one of the best this year. However, if you used to celebrate this holiday but now you are single, don’t give up! https://www.maturedating.com/ Here you can find a lovely woman who has enough experience to appreciate you without all romantic stuff. Happy wife’s day again!
