And he just threw a TD to Devin Asiasi.

Michigan West....LOL.

Their first connection on a TD pass since September 24, 2016 in The Big House against Penn State. LINK

Speight to Asiasi for a TD
October 20th, 2018 at 11:57 PM ^
Looking pretty good.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:57 PM ^
Asiasi just caught his first reception for UCLA: a TD from Speight.
EDIT: Comments commence?
October 20th, 2018 at 11:57 PM ^
Keep us posted on how Rhett Rod looks
October 21st, 2018 at 12:13 AM ^
Probably portly if he grew up on Rita's bean dip.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:58 PM ^
Wilton Speight vs Rhett Rodriguez. I'm stoned
October 20th, 2018 at 11:59 PM ^
He just threw a TD to Devin Asiasi. Glad to see both of them doing well.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:40 AM ^
Why are we rooting for them? Does "Those Who Stay..." actually mean nothing?
October 21st, 2018 at 12:44 AM ^
is this a serious question? are you really this stupid?
October 21st, 2018 at 1:11 AM ^
Or drunk...
October 21st, 2018 at 1:21 AM ^
It is a serious question, though I commend your ability to instinctively resort to ad hominem attacks or, more accurately, infantile repudiations. I have no ill will towards either player, but nor will I blindly support them when they actively chose to leave. I find it far easier to root for a Rodriguez, which is something.
October 21st, 2018 at 1:54 AM ^
Speight played his ass off for us and took a couple serious injuries in the process. When the writing was on the wall about his play time he transferred, you can't hate on a guy for that.
Asiasi, eh, whatever.
October 21st, 2018 at 2:28 AM ^
Both guys put their bodies on the line for Michigan football. Because of this, people like to see them do well.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:32 AM ^
They’ve done more for the Michigan football program than you would in 1000 lifetimes.
October 21st, 2018 at 9:21 AM ^
There are times when an argument is so flat out moronic that ad hominems are the only thing the person making it deserves to receive. This is one of those times.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:48 PM ^
Any time someone uses "ad hominem" I immediately know.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:05 AM ^
Oh, Devin...
October 21st, 2018 at 12:16 AM ^
Tough to see him leave.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:11 AM ^
Let's go Speight at my second favorite stadium obviously.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:29 AM ^
Just tuned in. Wanna see how Wilton is doing since getting benched game 1
October 21st, 2018 at 12:40 AM ^
Wilt is better than DTR this year. Hope he can finish strongly and have a shot at the next level.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:52 AM ^
That really says more about DTR's performance than Speight's.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:58 AM ^
He doesn't play for Michigan anymore. We can admit he's not a very good QB now.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:35 AM ^
He proved that when he was healthy, he could lead a good team to contender status. 2016 was a healthy Speight away from winning the Big 10 and making the playoffs.
October 21st, 2018 at 1:48 AM ^
He wasn't benched, he injured his back in the first game.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:44 AM ^
That was an ugly fumble by Speight. U*G*L*Y
October 21st, 2018 at 12:47 AM ^
A bad decision to not secure the ball. Instead he tried to keep the play alive while in the grasp and got stripped.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:45 AM ^
Just turned it on to see how he looks. Terrible strip sack. Wish him the best...
October 21st, 2018 at 12:45 AM ^
If watching Rhett Rod doesn't make you feel old I don't know what will.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:46 AM ^
Speight just fumbled and lost it. Krishna Lucier-South just sacked Rhett Rodriguez. Lot of Michigan connections.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:54 AM ^
Why are the announcers calling him Will, did he change his name when he left?
October 21st, 2018 at 12:59 AM ^
It's California.
October 21st, 2018 at 1:04 AM ^
Arizona is playing such soft coverage right now, but good for Speight nonetheless.
October 21st, 2018 at 1:06 AM ^
This game is so weird. I feel like it’s being lit with someone’s iPhone.
October 21st, 2018 at 1:29 AM ^
Doing pretty well. Glad for him.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:50 AM ^
Seems reasonable. Well played.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:26 PM ^
My son and I were at the Rose Bowl for the game last night. Wilton looked good. After some rustiness he managed the UCLA offense quite well. His passes got better and if his receivers were better there would be more yards and catches than seen. Wilton brings some maturity to the UCLA offense along with some consistency. His teammates were all over him about how good he was. Let's hope Kelly lets him start. But actually that was not the best part of the game, watching the Dodger game live on the Rose Bowl big screen pre game was the best part.

Rich Rod is no longer at AZ. That's Sumlin's team now.
A pity about Rich Rod. He really does know offense. It's his zone read that Urban Meyer, Gus Malzahn, and others have used with a lot of success. But the guy couldn't get his head out of his rear regarding defense and how it worked. You don't hire a 4-3 guy to run a 3-3-5 defense. But for some reason this was lost on him.
And in fairness, I don't think Greg Robinson is treated right by Michigan fans. He was hired to run a scheme he didn't use. That's like hiring a monster truck driver to drive a formula 1 car. He has proven himself at other times to be a very competent DC. Rich Rod, however, forced him into a situation that was not at all his strength.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:26 PM ^
Semi-correction: Ahhhh, I see you are referring to Rich's son Rhett. Never mind my first line.
