Can we please stop with the politics?
Can we please stop with the politics. This site is getting ridiculous. I’m not talking about the front page stuff from Brian, I’m talking about the blatant political talk by so many people in many of these threads. I don’t care how you feel politically and I’m getting sick of being subjected to seeing this in a good chunk of threads. The subtle interjection by some to try and say how they feel is pathetic. This is a call for the mods to please start banning people who have to run their mouths about their political beliefs. At the very least please start a separate area for political conversation so the people who can’t help themselves can go there. Be kind to each other everyone and stop putting your angry comments in threads to try and get your point across. The vast majority of us don’t come here. Better idea, have an open mind and talk with friends about it, not random internet people. PLEASE STOP RUINING THE BLOG I LOVE!

Yeah, I'm not really sure either. The most recent thing was the Kevin Wison/Hitler post and that wasn't even really political. It was just a bunch of people talking about Hitler is terrible person and that we're not surprised that was said by a now Buckeye

I think some crossing into politics is inevitable given the intersection of sports and culture, but I’m on board with avoiding it entirely if that also gets rid of the incessant whining about breaking of the politics rule.

Seriously. I wish people in this country could start respecting both sides of the aisle again. One side wants to kidnap and torture children, and the other doesn't. Both of these are respectable political positions now and we should treat them as such.

Meh... I just skip over and don't take offense regardless of which side it is on. I do support one party over the other but I generally do not have a high opinion of politicians. So I just find it funny if people get worked up about a particular politician. This is summer. Stuff like this happen. Nobody is going to be worried about politics this fall. Stay away from the site if you are offended. Asking people to change on the internet is dumb. There. I just broke my own advice.

Have some family members who will no longer talk ton each other because of political issues. On my side of the family and in the wife’s family as well. Really sad. Life is too short.
