If you were there, how about that atmosphere?

Holy shit. That was probably the most consistently loud I've ever heard Michigan Stadium for a game. I think Under the Lights II had some louder moments when ND was on offense, but man. That was incredible.

The best part was that I was able to stand for the ENTIRE GAME and no one told me to sit down! The days where Michigan fans are quiet are gone, and I love it.

I was in section 39 and when the game ended a minor skirmish broke out a few rows above me. I didn't see how it started but I did see a Michigan fan throw his cup of ice all over this older buckeye fan as he (the Mich fan) was being escorted out. The Buckeye fan had blood and cuts all over his face and the medical team came with the stretcher cart to tend to him. I wish I had seen the whole thing but I was kind of ashamed as it was our fan who clearly was being classless.

despite the ending.  thought it would be ugly and instead from the crowd, to the weather, to the fact that the offense finally showed up, it was a wonderful college football game.  proud of our team.

would not have gone for 2, but i totally get why it was done.  go blue!

To this team today, what a amazing performance. Sec 1 was not as loud as I have heard it, but the stadium as a whole was pretty good. I'm not upset one bit. GO BLUE

Section 23 stood the entire game. and the buckeye fan next to us was a very cool dude. I enjoyed watching and conversing about the game with him. Hell of an effort today by the fans, students, coaches, and players. Go Blue!

and not as red as I thought it would be. Deveon smith's mom was yelling constantly and it was great. Moron buckeye fan in row 2 was giving the double bird to our band. Yes, you read that correctly: flipped off the band at halftime. Buck fans were relieved they won and then oddly quiet.

A lot more than usual, to be sure, but it's the Game.  It was closer to a third an hour and 1/2 before kickoff.  Typically, visiotrs show up earlier.  (My daughter insists on getting there when the gates open as she likes to heckle the opposition and cheer the recruits at the tunnel---so I've seen it a few times.)

Atmosphere was awesome.  To be sure it was very quiet on the last drive.

the bit of theater that happened right in front of me.  (I was in row 71, sec 44, so was right on that high walk way).  Apparently a young couple was moving around dodging ushers until found.  Didn't think much of it when the usher told her that she was in trouble.  Eventually the story came out that both of them were in a stall in the ladies bathroom.

I only stayed for the first half because my 4 year old can't quite make it through two halves yet, but it was a great half! Great atmosphere. Lots of red but UM fans were loud, it was awesome!

anyone who sold their tickets to OSU fans are complete DB's.  Nothing more to be said.  Also, the horses asses that lament about this team constantly are in the same category.  You have to be present for the this game more than any other.  If you can support the team even in challenging seasons then you are really the worst part of this entire experience.

Section 19 stood the entire time. bucknuts around us were even pretty cool. They got a clear O-H-I-O going in the stadium in the second half so they unfortunately had plenty in the crowd. If you sold your tix, you missed a great game.

I'm in 19 as well.

it was still too much red but I didn't have to hear too much.

Just sad the D didn't show up and still thought if Michigan got the 2 point conversion a game winning FG was going to happen given they had 30 seconds left.

The students were great. Bigger student section than I expected given the holiday and the sub par year. Lots of credit to the students for being loud. Those who sold their tickets on stub hub and gave up on this team.....don't even want to talk about it.
Great game Team 134! Looking forward to Team 135 and beyond! Go Blue!!

The crowd gave some effort to drown out some buckeye cheers, which was nice to see, but as far as affecting offensive communication...Not even close. It is what it is, and for better or worse what it is is over. Hope springs eternal, and thank God for that.

fun game.  Much hope for the future.  Not much red in our section so proud to sit around real fans that don't bail on their team.  Go Blue.

I was section 17 row 85 with two of my friends. Not very many Ohio fans in that section but there were two, one with a Spielman jersey that stood directly in front of me the entire game. Even with some rude request for him to sit coming from behind he never turned around or said anything except some friendly chatter to those directly adjacent.

I was there for 2011 and there were a considerably higher number of Buckeyes this year. I'd say it was 20-25% Ohio folks easily, maybe more. They were loud for three quarters, right around 10 mins left in the 4th I was mentioning to one of my friends that the Ohio fans had gone silent and Spielman turned around, probably the first time all game and said "we're scared".

Didn't seem to be as loud as UTL or Ohio 2011 but overall the atmosphere was great! I'm surprised noone has mentioned what a great show that the Ohio marching band put on. They put the MMB to shame and were eye poppingly awesome.

Sec 43, row 6. I think UTL 1and2 were louder overall. However I was also at the 2009 and 2011 OSU games and this is the first game I have attended at UofM that my section stood the entire time. There were a ton of OSU in my section and the section next to me. OSU fans around me were fine. No more annoying than MSU fans. They were pretty quite as we walked back to the car as well.
