Indiana Football: More OL injuries, Starting RT Peyton Eckert done for the year.
Indiana is experiencing some OL challenges of it's own.
Starting junior RT Peyton Eckert (6-6, 310 lbs) is now out for the season due to back injury that hasn't healed. He will be replaced by Sophomore RT Ralston Evans, 6-4, 285 lbs. (3-star, No. 79 tackle)
RG Dan Freeney was lost earlier in the year to injury (Lisfranc injury?). His replacement RG David Kaminski tore his ACL vs. Penn State.

Our defense better have a field day.

Another spread. We'll probably sit back and try to bleed them off the field and hold IU from getting TDs. You'll probably be disappointed

As noted in the article, Eckert had not played at all this year and Evans has been the starter.

IU lost to Navy, got pistol whipped by Connor Cook, and beat PSU at home. Sure, their offense can give Michigan trouble. They give everyone trouble. But define trouble. They scored 28 on MSU, but lost by 14 to a MSU squad with mediocre-at-best offensive talent.
IU's QBs are not exactly hot right now either. They are rotating their guys in. That isn't a good thing.
IU's defense blows chunks and unlike Akron they don't have an Hall of Fame DC running their defense. Oh and Pasqualoni is/was superior to IU's DC as well.
Could UM lose this game? Yeah, they could. Such things are possible with young, turnover-prone teams. But they also could score 50 plus and win by a healthy margin. If Michigan struggles it won't be because of IU, but because they didn't not prepare well enough. However, I suspect and dearly hope that they will be prepared to play.

our D could exploit this opportunity, I hope we get some pressure and the corners cove the quick throws. I am not feeling good about this game.

The Indiana offensive line depth chart, which like most teams is likely not the depth chart, reads as follows for the Michigan game:

My god. Panic. We will lose by 10!!! You guys are a joke.

I'm thinking we lose by 17. But WTF.

The team goes from a solid game against Notre Dame, to weak games against losing teams and also-rans. Even the Minnesota game looked like the it was played with the parking brake on.
To say that I don't grok these game plans is an understatement.
If we can't beat Indiana handily, especially with their O-line losses for the season, I might have to become a Detroit Lions fan. And that always ends in disappointment.

Why don't you start right now and save the rest of us from your angst?
