He has made some nice throws in this game. Looking impressive. Fun game to watch thus far.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:42 PM ^
Penn State, other than one play, has looked horrible on offense.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:47 PM ^
I have to LOL at how MSU is in a weather delay while it's bright and sunny in Ann Arbor.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:51 PM ^
The sun always shines on the Wolverine M-pire.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:54 PM ^
Michigan State is so very silly because there's a storm in or near East Lansing. Because of the weather, that proves that Michigan State is so silly LOLWUT haha!
September 7th, 2013 at 12:50 PM ^
Illinois making Purdue look REALLY bad.

This Florida offense makes my eyes bleed.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:55 PM ^
So thus far in the game MSU's defense is pitching a shutout and MSU's offense is not moving the ball. As expected....
September 7th, 2013 at 12:57 PM ^
And this thread proves it. There are more comments about MSU in this thread than any other Big10 team, and the game hasn't even started.

to be up at all in this game, much less two scores in the first half with a good stat line for Scheelhaase.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:01 PM ^
September 7th, 2013 at 1:03 PM ^
Cincy looks lost out there today. Maybe Purdue was just that bad.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:04 PM ^
Jeff Driskel is so unbelievably bad. Wasn't he the #1 QB out of high school?
September 7th, 2013 at 1:08 PM ^
Even weirder. So was John Brantley. I don't know what they do to 5-star pro-style QBs in Gainesville, but it isn't pretty.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:05 PM ^
Scheelhaase looks good today.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:06 PM ^
Western Kentucky, 5 offensive plays, 5 turnovers. Wow.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:12 PM ^
Plays or drives? If it's really 5 turnovers in their first 5 plays, that's one of the craziest stats I've ever seen.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:06 PM ^
Western Kentucky has now turned the ball over on 5 1st quarter possessions. Have a feeling that won't be happening tonight.

September 7th, 2013 at 1:07 PM ^
Illinois is dynamite! But srsly Scheelhaase looks as good as I've seen him look. Maybe all that experience is finally paying off. This offensive scheme certainly fits him better than last year's.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:08 PM ^
Illinois looks competent. I'm confused.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:09 PM ^
I wonder which program is going to come along and make Narduzzi a rich man this offseason.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:13 PM ^
If I was AD/GM over a major FBS program or NFL team with a lousy defense, I would throw buckets and buckets of money at Narduzzi. It's obvious he's one of the best D-coordinators in college football and even Narduzzi must be starting to realize he can only prop up MSU for so long

This Miami/UF game is great thus far.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:11 PM ^
I'll give them that there was a delay for lightning, but the top 20% of the student section is empty and there's at least 2 entire sections in the upper deck that are empty #SPARTANDAWGS
September 7th, 2013 at 1:12 PM ^
EMU hanging with PSU. Down 14-7 but just stopped a PSU drive with a INT.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:13 PM ^
Illinois looks really good, but I wonder if part of it is that Cincinnati is a paper tiger. Cincy trounced Purdue last week, but Purdue looks like a tire fire.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:15 PM ^
Burbridge's hands are not so good.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:15 PM ^
September 7th, 2013 at 1:15 PM ^
State offense: still comical.
State defense: about to score.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:17 PM ^
Christian Hackenburg throws into heavy traffic and Eastern gets the interception.
The Eagles are driving after another first down at about midfield too. Eastern actually has a better 3rd down conversion percentage right now as well, which is easy to do when Penn State hasn't converted one yet.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:18 PM ^
I love Eastern hanging with PSU.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:21 PM ^
If an OC would ever call a screen against MSU, they'd score from anywhere on the field.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:23 PM ^
September 7th, 2013 at 1:21 PM ^
That was some bad decision making by the USF QB, basically just tried to hand a Spartan the ball.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:22 PM ^
and Cincinnati beat Purdue 42-7. I do not understand
September 7th, 2013 at 1:24 PM ^
Here's a handy chart.
This is Purdue:
September 7th, 2013 at 1:25 PM ^
Sept is normally when Scheelhaase creates false hope for Illinois.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:25 PM ^
Sparty is terrible
September 7th, 2013 at 1:27 PM ^
Some serious booing at Spartan Stadium right now.
Remember, this is the same USF team that gave up 53 to McNeese State last week.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:26 PM ^
where the score remains 0-0 as we enter the seventh overtime. Please kill me"
September 7th, 2013 at 1:28 PM ^
Florida killing Miami on this drive with the running game.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:28 PM ^
Aside from that run for the first down, it seems like State somehow figured out how to downgrade further at QB.
