Hello: Chris Webber
Chris Webber's 10-year required disassociation from Michigan is now officially over.
Did you ask Spike if you could post bikini pic's of his girlfriend on the internet? You should always do that first.
Please post 247 composite rankings with posts. I thought we established this?

Hoke can't recruit skill positions
All-American TE
It's a rule now.
Titus Young elusive reference - Too soon?
Police didn't find Titus Young elusive at all.
if we could somehow create Tris Burber. I am pretty sure he would be one of the greatest of all time.
No apology needed homie, just come help this program take that next step. We have a lot more nets to cut down and banners to raise and we need all of our legends to include the ones before (and after) you to be a part of this process.
how well he will fit in Coach B's system, looks like a good rebounder and shot blocker with a decent jumpshot and very athletic, he should get quite a few minutes.
He tends to accumulate fouls.
I dont believe the relationship between Chris Webber and the university is ever going to be resolved. We're going to have Chris Webber topics on here for another 10 years
I hope that this book of his can end this. Either it will show surprising maturity and acceptance of his mistakes or it will be a self serving tome of bullshit and forever burn his bridges with the fanbase.
The sad reality is that 20 years from now a saga that began with people like Webber getting cash and ends with underage recruits going to strip clubs, SUV rollovers, the FBI kicking down doors, and prejury in front of Congress will still be excused away by some because hey it was some exciting basketball, they were just kids, and we played a good game against Duke.
All I can say to the younger generation is imagine how angry you would be if tomorrow the FBI picked up five guys on the football team for ties to a book maker, Hoke had to resign, we had to give up the Sugar Bowl, and our recruiting class went to shit/even midlevel recruits wouldn't return our calls. We'd all likely be screaming for heads.
I would start a riot in Happy Valley.
I want an apology. Of course most of you yung uns weren't born yet so you don't remember anything.......
EDIT: This was a misplaced post..in response to something else-stupid phone entry. sorry.
Its the school's fault? And Chris was "poor".... Uh...yeah. No apology needed, just do whatever the fuck you want Chris. No consequences necessary, because you are the almighty Chris Webber. Own it, and the dynamic with the people still pissed will change. Be a Man. own it.
That's the thing. Some of us didn't watch Webber play with Michigan. I think this whole thing is stupid and I just wish there was some way it could end.
No apology needed. I want to know how he was given $600K while playing basketball at Michigan and no one could tell. I want to know if this was a story of his dad capitalizing off of a son's fame, a la Cam Newton.
I never fully believed the full Ed Martin story. He was a crook, so that is enough for me to not trust every word coming out his mouth. Too bad he kicked it right before the perjury trial. All I know is the $38K Webber said he took is a far cry from the alleged $280K amount.
But its you who should grow up.
Really.
What's Chris Webber saying "I'm sorry" like some 6-year old child going to do?
Move on...it's been over for years. Saying I'm not going to forgive you until you say "sorry" is ridiculous.
Does he have to write that he "will not take money again" on the chalkboard too?

For those who aren't familiar with him or haven't seen him play, here's a great highlight video.
Enjoy!
He's like a more athletic McGary.
being just as unstoppable underneath the basket.
both sides do the right thing,...starting with a meeting of the minds...it's a start, aleast.
I have some character concerns about this prospect. There are rumors that he could be troublesome and incur some sanctions against Michigan, and I don't know if he'll stay all four years.
TTB Rating: 37
Word is he has trouble counting to 5...
Whoah! Time out. Don't you think you're being a little to hard on the guy?
A shiny new page on the history of the NCAA infractions including mentioning the expiration of the sanctions on MGoBlue.
Looks like its not complete yet. There is going to be video files of the NCAA conference if you want to relive the pain. Oh joy.
Will Michigan be receptive to having/hosting him w/o an official apology or will Chris call another TO on Michigan due to his grudge and refuse to apologize?
We shall see.
As some one who had to endure a decade of terrible basketball because of him and his bad decisions this not something to celebrate.
I have a lot of anger towards him and what he did. Until he apologizes I don't care what happens to him. He's not welcome back as far as I'm concerned.
The current basketball team and coach who are doing things the right way shouldn't have this constant reminder of how horrible things were. Can we just honor what this new group is doing?
My sentiments exactly.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but frankly, Chris Webber can go f*ck himself.
Taylor and Bullock too
I hope he takes responsibility for his actions, apologizes, and then reconciles with the program. It's best for everyone that way. There's no need to hold him up as some sort of eternal pariah. We need to move forward with he and the rest of the Fab Five on board.
The Brian Ellerbee hiring was awful. Tommy Amaker never got the facilities he was promised.
People seem to forget that we had bubble teams during the Amaker years, but we couldn't get in the tourney because of either a weak non-conference schedule or lack of quality conference wins. That was after the sanctions expired.
UK was hit with worse sanctions in the late 80's, but they hired Rick Pitino and had good facilities for that time. And they bounced right back.
I think you're lying to yourself if you say the blame is on the coaches and athletic directors. The players (Webber, Bullock, etc.) CERTAINLY had something to do with the "dark years." I'm not saying they were solely responsible, but they were a factor.
