Per TomVH on Twitter, Drake Harris has decommitted from MSU:

No, they've gone off the deep end.
"I don't mean this in a bad way, but I hope he snaps his fucking leg and a shattered piece of fibula takes out his right eye."
I'm just glad that he didn't mean that in a bad way.
Buckle Up???
Should I create a third thread about this?
I'm guessing Ferns is ready with Drake's shirt...
Apparently this is in reference to a T-Shirt Tuesday Giveaway. He gives a fan a T-Shirt every Tuesday. Carry on with your regular scheduled programming.
I see it.
I'm sure that "other" board is having a total meltdown right now even though this was probably seen as inevitable. 3 visits within 3 weeks while there were events going on at MSU is pretty telling. It's not a lock he comes to Michigan but it feels more likely he would pick Michigan than MSU. Would love to have this kid!
looking up.
Interesting because even the guy from 247 said he confirmed it with Drake himself.
Said Drake reached out to him.
They don't seem to be on the same page here.
His dad didn't get the memo...
Did you get that memo?
Same thing happened when it came out that Michigan was at the top. His dad said it wasn't true. Seems like his dad just wants him to keep everything under wraps, which is probably wise considering how some of these recruitments go (i.e. Gunner Kiel).
It seems like his dad keeps interjecting in the media when Drake says something he doesn't like. Seems like they need to get on the same page or Drake's dad needs to get that he can make decisions without him
Maybe dad is sold on MSU, but Drake is feeling UM a bit more. Parents and kids aren't always going to go in the same direction on these things. Let's hope Mr. Harris also gets won over to the good side . . .
I've seen in multiple places his Dad is a Michigan fan. Pops is on our side. Had Mom & Grandparents with him on visit yesterday.
That was my best guess as to why dad would say that Drake is still committed to MSU. If he is not an MSU backer, I'm out of ideas. It would certainly appear that Drake is, if not a UM lean, not an MSU commit either. Strange situation, to say the least . . .
If he truly didn't know, it could be him just trying to protect his son from rumors.
I was under the impression that his dad always liked Michigan better. Is that not right?
Edit: thanks Bing (and not the search engine)
You have nothing to worry about, his dad is actually a Michigan fan and has been his whole life.

What, Godwin Heights representing with the Harris family?
As a former South Division kid I don't know about this.
Not. At. All.
Take it easy Sparty. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
I see a #1 jersey in your future.
Yea, I know he was the best recruit in our class, and probably the highest rated player we've had in a decade... but now he sucks.
Signed,
You know who
and I know you're joking, but Tom Gholson was a 5* and I believe Lawrence Thomas was briefly before fattening up and playing some fullback. Plus, if there's one position I wouldn't worry about if I was a Sparty, It'd be WR. They always seems to find someone pretty good
I want to taste those tears.
The tears won't taste best when he commits, the tears will taste best when he goes off for 8 receptions and 2 touchdowns in another of what is to be many Spartan beatdowns at the hands of the Wolverines. That's when it will hurt the most and it will be glorious.
Hopefully a commit to Michigan soon !!!
Stating the obvious, but WR is the only position where there is not ridiculous depth. Coach Borges' downfield playaction game was a beautiful sight to behold at times once Devin took over, and that without any real run game or an elite receiver to set it up. I think Coach Saban himself would have to raise his eyebrows when/if this becomes a position of strength.
Soooo, do you have split personality or something?
Probably
Probably not.
seems to me like he used to think he was indecisive. Now, he's not so sure.
