Man, didn't want to see Lincecum in here. No, seriously, I didn't want to see him because I just plain don't like looking at him and his dog ugly hair.

Justin probably should have pitched better in that all star start. Dumbest thing in sports, the whole all-star-winner-home-field-thing, but ... I missed the game but when I heard JV post-game talking about how he was just trying to hit 101 "for the fans" and "having fun" I cringed ... wait, wut? What are the chances in all of humanity that would come back to haunt him but here we are. I'm sure he would have been much more comfortable starting at home.

I don't like this Pagan-Scutaro-Sandoval thing. Not one bit.

I know it is. I thought he was talking about if home field wasn't decided in the All Star game but by record. Either way San Fran would have had it. But I guess if JV was pitching to win instead of entertaining in that game it might have been a little different.

It's Papa Grande. Big Papi is David Ortiz. And don't think Valverde is deserving of any positive nicknames until he stops pitching like something bad is going to happen whether or not that ever happens again while he's in a Tigers uniform.

Things we learned tonight:

  1. Valverde is done, and at least we found this out in a game we were well behind in.

  2. JV is human and had himself a bad night.

  3. Benoit looked sharp and had good bite to his changeup

  4. 5 days without baseball is bad.
