Makes sense, just wasn't privy to that rule change.  Thanks!

I'm still confused about the flagrant on Teske- had no idea what they were reviewing during the game and then all of the sudden it was Northwestern free throws/ball.  Did they explain it on the broadcast?  Like it looked like he was kinda holding his arm down, but I hadn't remembered that being a flagrantable offense.

Tickets were $125 in the nosebleeds* on Sunday night (appears they've dropped to about $95) but I got lucky and my buddy at Kellogg had somebody selling them for $10.  Not mad about it.

*Not sure if any seat there qualifies as the nosebleeds, but farther from the court than most of the rest of the seats

11/21/2018 - 8:45pm Celtic Crown- Never been but…

Celtic Crown- Never been but by stereotyping the neighborhood, would be a chill place to watch the bar.

Diag- Probably the most fun and involved, but must get there early

Fifty/50-New this year and haven't been but probably fun and closeish to the highway

Rockit- Downtown/River North- Most expensive option and probably one of the younger crowds

WestEnd- Relatively Chill as long as there isn't a Hawks game at the same time, but does have weird seating.  Fortunately, the Hawks aren't as good as a few years ago.

Duffy's- Drunkest option and perfect if you're 22 (not a knock, I enjoyed it at 22)

Dickens Street Public House-  Went once and had only the Michigan game and we were the only people there which was actually quite nice if you're not looking for something rowdy

08/20/2018 - 1:00pm I'd believe this logic a lot…

I'd believe this logic a lot more if they had any common opponents in their respective season schedules- like maybe if both teams started the year on the road in South Bend at night.

Heading to Iceland to watch their first few games- could not be more excited!

03/24/2018 - 11:33pm Went to weddings the last two weekends-

Anyone know someone getting married next Monday?

03/22/2018 - 10:11pm Lessskgggooooo

03/21/2018 - 7:21pm I cannot stop

listening to this song

03/18/2018 - 2:53am At a wedding...

streaming on my phone.  A few other Michigan fans gatherered around and we let out screams that scared most of the bride's family.  I'm okay with it.

03/04/2018 - 6:42pm Bang me

like I'm trying to defend Haas down low

02/19/2018 - 5:48pm For what it's worth

the ACC tournament is at the Barclays Center the from 3/6-3/10- so both big venues in NYC were accounted for.  Woudn't be surprised if it was MSG or bust anyways.

02/18/2018 - 8:47pm That's the most Michigan hockey

I've watched in a long time- definitely a great sports-watching weekend.

02/18/2018 - 3:20pm Woooooo!

Let's Goooooooooooooo!

02/17/2018 - 4:03pm Basketball is

such a weird sport.  49 points in 20 min, 4 in the next 15!

02/16/2018 - 7:57pm Huge Goal

Keep it up boys!

02/16/2018 - 12:19pm Maui

Man, Maui ended up being an underwhelming field, especially with the injury to Colson.  Granted a path with a win over LSU would have been either Q2, Q2 (ND) Q1 (WSU) or Q2, Q2 (ND), Q2 (Marquette) which would have been better than what Michigan ended up with (Q2, D2, Q3) but considering what that looked like at the beginning of the season, it's reaaaaallly hurt the non-conference schedule.

01/14/2018 - 1:16pm Livers did

A few games ago, I believe when he was dunking on Illinois a bunch.  Hopefully it was just a "I'm about to get starter's minutes and need to get something out of my system" situation.

01/13/2018 - 2:30pm I love that man

He’s the best

01/09/2018 - 11:51pm And it ruined a perfectly good scoreboard screenshot

12/13/2017 - 11:38pm LSU Game

It obviously wasn't ideal to lose that game, but I think LSU is going to surprise some people.  Their two losses are to the #18 and #52 kenpom teams immediately after losing their (probably) 2nd best player in Sampson (who's still out).

They just beat #44 Houston and should get Sampson back soon.  Obviously it would have been ideal to win that game especially since they could be a bubble team, but I'd be surprised if that qualifies as a "bad loss" (especially a loss against RPI 100+) when its all said and done.  Tremont Waters is the truth.

12/12/2017 - 11:40pm Don't look now but...

Kenpom offensive rating- 45

Kenpom defensive rating- 33

Since 2012 (2011 defense was slightly higher than offense) the closest the defense had been to the offense was 33 spots- in the year they missed the tournament.

I understand there are caveats, but aren't there always?

11/11/2017 - 7:42pm Minnesota

And I don't really think it's close.  Doubled their yardage, controlled the clock and the score, easily their worst loss of the year.

The rest of the games all had their issues.

11/08/2017 - 12:14am Whoops

Meant to include power five conference in my statement

11/07/2017 - 10:23pm From an incredibly

biased perspective- Michigan is the only 7-2 team to not be in the CFP rankings.  Maybe it's just because we tend to be historically overrated, but its a weird feeling to be kinda flying under the radar.

10/10/2017 - 10:31pm Not to excuse

losing to T&T because that doesn't happen to teams that qualify (except for Panama I guess), but man, it's 2017 and we can't get a replay on Panama's first goal?

Having said that, watching Panama's second goal to send them to their first world cup was super cool.

05/04/2016 - 2:03pm Wagner

FWIW, Wagner also committed in April last year- and is another potential late recruiting success story.

07/31/2013 - 10:21am I would have to think...

Woodson taking #2 would be much more likely than Hart taking #20.  We're talking the only player to ever win the Heisman while mainly playing defense, who also has a national title.  I'm a little too young to know much of anything about Gehringer...but I'm not too young to know how dominant Barry was.

So if you're talking about complaints with that list, I wouldn't start it with Hart.

06/25/2013 - 2:14pm There were

Definitely an unnecessary amount of Detroit Sucks chants, especially considering the fact that there was actually a lot to cheer about.  Having said that, being in Wrigleyville was pretty awesome.

06/18/2013 - 3:00pm I totally agree with you

more of a statement of how weak the rest of the B1G is shaping up to be

06/18/2013 - 2:56pm Also of Note

Michigan and Ohio are the only B1G schools in the top 25...

06/12/2013 - 2:05pm Had Similar Debacle

Sister was choosing between NYU and Michigan.  I laid out everything I loved about Ann Arbor, but could I blame her for choosing NYU?  Absolutely not.

Granted...either way, I am not footing the bill.

05/26/2013 - 5:28pm Softball is still on?

Thanks a lot Obama

04/01/2013 - 7:01pm But,

do we know who took a dook in the urinal?

04/01/2013 - 12:37pm I was

at a bar in Chicago, and essentially just started running around was the only thing that made sense

03/31/2013 - 4:55pm Basketball

and posbangs and stuff

03/29/2013 - 3:37pm Ehhh

Give him a pass, he actually made the video.

11/30/2012 - 2:29pm Rumor has it

Jim Delaney is looking to add Oxford as the 16th school.  This will add the London television market as well as the rest of UK.  Who cares if they will be playing Rugby?  Its all about the $.

They do make sense Academically though.

11/28/2012 - 9:27pm Just need one

at least to retain the the Ryder's cup

11/03/2012 - 12:56pm Nice

10/29/2012 - 4:42pm He's such a cool guy

We had an IM Basketball game at Crisler, right around the time of the NCAA tournament.  Novak was still on the floor shooting while we were trying to warm up, and Beilein finally told Zack to stop shooting so we could warm up.  He essentially had to kick him off the court,as Novak was running low on his time left.  Anyways, Beilein stopped over to talk to us about how he would stop and "recruit" our game if it wasn't for his radio show later that night.  He obviously wasn't serious, but it was really cool how down to Earth he was with some random college students.

Sidenote- I am 2-2 lifetime from 3 pt range at Crisler; one of my favorite IM games at Michigan ever.

10/26/2012 - 3:13pm That

Is Fantastic News

10/25/2012 - 11:19pm Definitely nice to see

People blaming coach for the offense getting two hits.

I have been trying to think of more frustrating ways to lose, and it has been pretty difficult.

But I am the eternal optimist; Undefeated at home in the postseason, and a way better record there in the regular season.   Letttts Gooooooo!

10/24/2012 - 10:37pm I concur

10/24/2012 - 9:37pm Besides

San Fran has yet to win a series this postseason after winning the first game

10/23/2012 - 11:52pm Having grown up in the Lansing area

I know Jon didn't have quite the high school reputation that Al did, but if you told me in high school that Al would have two national titles, multiple NBA all star appearances and become the third overall draft pick, I would have said that you were out of your mind.  Since Horford committed, I have pegged him to be a late bloomer with virtually unlimited celing and I stand by that stance today.  With the NBA family background (his father Tito was also no slouch) and the training with the Dominican National Team, I expect Horford to be at worst a very solid player in his last 3 years at Michigan, with a high probability of passing Morgan.

10/15/2012 - 11:56pm Can't wait to

see his talent on the quartz

10/14/2012 - 6:05am They be all like
