I have no idea why they do it. It's beyond annoying. We don't need live play-by-play from radio announcers in the freaking stadium. It's bad enough that they talk over everything and are inaccurate, but having Brandstatter out there throwing players under the bus is ridiculous.

This comment is not limited to today, but at what point do we start to worry a little about Gardner being our QB when Denard graduates?

I know it's the spring game, but I have to agree. Bellomy looks better right now (given he's playing the 2nd team team) but Devin doesn't seem mentally there a lot of the time

To be fair, we have yet to see a throw downfield from RB...it appears he simply doesn't have DGs armstrength

He looks a little shakey. I think it's nerves. He throws a beautiful ball in practice, and looks calm in the pocket, with good escapability when needed. I just think he's a guy that needs a lot of reps in real games.

I'm not too worried. The job won't be handed to him; he'll have to compete with Bellomy and Morris. Also, keep in mind that the offense often struggles in spring games.

Random observations: Craig Roh looks good at his new position. He's been in the backfield quite a few times. BWC looks slimmed down and more fit but still seems to have issues with pad level.

Devin has not looked good today, but I think it's far from time to move him away from QB at this point. Denard looked just as crappy in last year's game as well. Bellomy looks good, but you can also see the downgrade in arm strength. Would like to see what both can do stretching the field.

The game is free to attend, BUT:
1) T-storms were predicted, so a bunch of people planning on traveling probably canceled.
2) Finals start next week and this is Michigan.
-it stormed here early this morning in SW Michigan, and the radar showed that weather making a Beilein for AA! No need to drive 2 1/2 hours to get wet at a 1-hour scrimmage when I can do it for free right here!
