The Hoosiers finally joined the commitment party, but Dion Witty decommitted within two days of pledging to Indiana.
Pretty cool that no other team on the list has a commit from Michigan. I know Sparty has Bullough but he is a legacy and was going there no matter what.
i saw on wisconsin's rivals site that jordan diamond is "intrigued by" Wisconsin - should I be worried at all?
has been scouting him since SDSU. Diamond got an early offer from him there. Recruits say wonderful things about every offer they get, and every school that offers him gushes in return. Rivals proly has 20 different headlines that say "Jordan Diamond blown away by visit to ......."
I'm really curious about what will happen to Nebraska in the coming years. I think the conventional wisdom is that this will open up Big Ten recruiting territory to them, but I'm not convinced of that yet. Are kids from Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc. really going to want to live in Nebraska for four years? It's possible that this jump will cost them kids from the Great Plains who want to stay in the Big 12 without really giving them all that much outside of there.
it's not really that different than Iowa, is it? And Iowa's getting kids from the eastern half of Big Ten country.
Do they need kids from that area? dunno. I mean, they're already recruiting in Texas and California. Obviously Ohio is going to open up more for a while, but Michigan might be a bit tougher, and if they can recruit well nationally, they don't necessarily need to go into new enemy country.
I'd guess the move to the Big 10 will hurt them a little in Texas because they're no longer part of the local conference, but that's just a guess. It may take them some time to realize any loss due to inertia, but who knows.
Iowa doesn't exactly tear it up on the recruiting trail. If Nebraska gets Iowa-level recruits, then I'm not too concerned with their long-term powerhouse viability. Iowa does a tremendous job of player development with second tier recruits.
Its a good question, I wouldn't really think so though. They might lose some media exposure for lower tier games that would be carried on the bigten network but they should still be the same Nebraska team for national games.
I don't think I have really ever heard a recruit say they want to stay in the big12 tbh.
When does Rivals release the rest of their rankings? Not that is it a huge deal, but the NR players from Rivals is dropping our average a ton. I'm not worried, just curious to see when they will finish the rest of the rankings.
they usually go through and re-evaluate the list in midsummer where 3 star kids jump up to 4 after all the combine appearances. Right now, for our list, consider any unranked to be 3 stars on Rivals.

It's June. You cannot be serious.
Am I the only one confused that it says we didn't get a new commit, but then in the next line talks about Gant.
Throw the text line about Strandifer in there as well. I'll never down vote or jab at anybody who puts out solid info like this on a weekly basis. (Not saying you did Lets_Go_Blue)
It's just an artifact from last week.
Good work. I was wondering this exact thing.
Say what you want about the Coaching staff but I can't recall Michigan ever having this much success with a recruiting class this early in the timeline
C'mon chunkums enough with the ads already.

another top visitor in A2 in the coming days - read on to see who
anyone know who it is?
We've got a flock of top recruits visiting on the 10th and after, and Kiel deciding in the next 10 days. Where's Tom VH when you need him?
However, that link includes a link to the message board.
If you take the link to the message board and paste it into a google search you get a few lines of the OP.
Which provides you this YouTube video.
Sione Houma - Some sort of running back from Highland HS in Utah. I didn't find a Scout or Rivals profile for him, maybe someone else can.
This concludes your daily lesson on how to get around Scout's paywall.
wasn't Sione that guy we were looking at to be a FB?
"He's got to be a guy who comes in about 6'3" and leaves about 6'1"" -Brady Hoke on the Art of the Fullback
You are correct. FB Sione Houma, 6-0/210 Salt Lake City (Highland).
Visiting next Saturday (June 11).
Rushed 1064 yards last season, including 661 yards / 5TD in his team's last three playoff games.
I have to think we have way bigger scholarship needs than FB. I know there's one walking on this year. Hopefully we're looking at him at RB. I know Borges likes big backs.
That means he'd leave at about 5'10".
Can you say "yards after contact?" Man I like this kids style. I wouldn't mind at all if we took him over a few more prestigeous 5stars. Suprised to see a FB run away from kids too.
Wow. I didn't see a single play where he didn't get an extra 2 yards as he was being brought down. That forward momentum is ridiculous.
Unless Fickell and Ohio State show more resilience than expected to their NCAA-violation firestorm.
Will go down to the wire but would be nice to see UM on top for the first time in a while.
You never know when Penn State is going to make some noise. They're already in the running for some good recruits, so I'd add them and make a top 3.
