The nutty Michigan coverage isn't so much about Harbaugh as it is a signal to the Big Ten that Fox wants to party.

Have we considered that maybe Auburn's defensive backfield just isn't as good as ours and that's why he's starting there? We know Countess wasn't as good as Lewis or Peppers, so that's essentially two of the three spots he could play. And it's possible he (and the coaches) felt a couple other guys were better than him and he was looking at being a back up, whereas Auburn was in need of another CB.
I don't think Michigan is as good as Auburn right now, but it's certainly possible we're better in that one position group and Countess took advantage of it.

Fake punt for a TD would be insane. I'm not sure I've ever seen that.

Better question: Who will score the 7th TD against Utah? I'm going with Khalid Hill.

This would be my guess as well. Next guess would be same thing but Lyons coming in at safety.

I agree. Top end speed is way overrated for a RB. Sure, it's great to have. But that top end speed doesn't come into play until you're about 30 yards past the line of scrimmage, which is the minority of most running plays. Yes, it's nice when a guy can turn that 30 yards into a TD, but I'm much more interested in a guy who can turn 0 into 3 or 3 into 6 on a regular basis.

Not true. We refer to the Beilein bump as the sites finding out a player is good after Beilein does. So it would follow that Harbaugh bump would signify the same.

Gentry will be catching many of Peters's TD passes.

Do you mean 15k M fans in the endzone or total? Because my guess is there will be more M fans there than that.

Teh refs are also standing directly over Rivers and Clark and they clearly didn't see anything flag worthy, let alone newsworthy.
|5 days 5 hours ago||I don't know. Rivers is due||
I don't know. Rivers is due for a few cheap shots. Guy's a bitch.
|5 days 5 hours ago||So yeah, I see nothing wrong||
So yeah, I see nothing wrong that Clark did in that video. The only one doing anything wrong is everyone on SD's OL who did literally nothing.

I agree it can be hard to support Frank Clark sometimes, but attacking Phillip Rivers (if that even really happened) actually makes it easier for me to cheer for him. Because fuck Phillip Rivers.

Talking to a few Utah fans on Twitter, it sounds like there isn't really a good reason for this, other than to stand behind their guy who they feel Harbaugh wronged.
|5 days 10 hours ago||I doubt that's it because||
I doubt that's it because Utah also doesn't have a QB as good as Alex Smith.
Maybe because Alex Smith was a Urban Meyer player? That's still not good, but I don't know what part of this would haunt Harbaugh.

You're making a lot of assumptions about me. I have two boys as well. I understand conflicts happen. I'm not suggesting you can avoid all conflicts. But you can make decisions to minimize those.

No idea. At some point, I have. The video works when I open a new tab, but for some reason not the embedded version. Is adobe not just for pdfs anymore? Sorry, not exactly a computer scientist over here.

Same in CA. Many weeks in the summer it's a little too hot (though we don't have humidity like you do) but the rest of the year is beautiful. The only thing summer is good for is going to the beach, which is a little too cold by the water the rest of the year. But with young kids, that only happens a handful of times a summer anyway.
|6 days 8 hours ago||You could, but only||
You could, but only situationally as well. You hope we'll have guys on the team who are a lot quicker than him as our every down backs, but I wouldn't have a problem playing him in short yardage situations, almost as a fullback, but not permanently.
|6 days 8 hours ago||Agreed, just depends on if he||
Agreed, just depends on if he can catch. I like him in the H-back type Aaron Shea role. Kinda like how (and I hate using this comparison now, but football-wise it works) Aaron Hernandez was used in college. He was a shorter, faster TE who wasn't a big time blocker but Meyer got the ball in his hands in different ways, sometimes with a little shovel pass.

I can't move on now. Not until he goes back in time and gets married in June or something. And I want to be invited, for helping.
|6 days 8 hours ago||Yeah, we all have different||
Yeah, we all have different priorities. I just like to put myself in as few situations as possible where my high priorities pit themselves against each other. I don't choose Michigan football over my wife either, which is why I try to make sure those things overlap as little as possible.
|6 days 8 hours ago||Yah - he's not a QB outside||
Yah - he's not a QB outside of maybe situationally, but damn he'll be a good football player anywhere else they want to put him. I like him on offense because I think he'll be dangerous with the ball in his hands some way.
