Maybe find a new lender. A broker is a good idea, since they are usually more lenient, or a small lender that is looking to sell off your loan. They'll be more lenient than a big bank. |
| 8 hours 32 min ago | I agree, get another |
I agree, get another appraisal. Who appraised your house earlier this year? The market has gone up since then, so I'd get them. And I agree with the poster above - you need to push your agent harder to make it work. |

But he's a total monster who would have played against us for two years so it totally matters in this case. |
| 12 hours 30 min ago | There is middle ground, too. |
There is middle ground, too. You can say that Borges (or Mattison, holy be thy name) makes bad calls, and I'm sure every game he has a number of calls he wishes he made differently. But do you think Borges calls plays other than what our coaching staff thinks will be the best play to run in a given situation? Every time we've run up the middle for no gain, Borges et al felt that was the best play given the situation. Maybe he was setting up something else, or maybe he really thought it was the best shot for a first down. Maybe we had a player banged up for a series that threw off the gameplan a bit, or maybe he saw something in the defense he wanted to exploit, but they adjusted. I guess the line is whether you're critiquing Borges or blaming him, because there's a difference. |
| 12 hours 41 min ago | OK, well if people where |
OK, well if people where saying that because they didn't really know how tall he was or because they're just idiots, then I can't really speak to that. But no intelligent person said that height alone would preclude Trey from an NBA career. It's like Mike Hart. People said his size might keep him from having a successful NFL career. If I would have posted his height and weight next to that of Barry Sanders and said, "See, this should put to rest any concerns people have with Mike Hart's size" it doesn't really mean anything, right? Just because Chris Paul is under 6'0" and really good doesn't mean that every NBA team is champing at the bit to draft a 5'11" PG. |
| 12 hours 59 min ago | Yeah, I agree with this. I'm |
Yeah, I agree with this. I'm not against questioning a coach now and then, but it's really easy to watch a bunch of plays that don't work and say "it was dumb to run those plays" because, obviously. And I certainly got frustrated during the second half of that OSU game, but that probably has a lot more to do with the fact that our offense wasn't working as well in the second half as the first half, and not so much with the playcalling itself. After that game, I would think to myself "why did we run so much of that, and not more of this?" But in reality, there's a really good answer to that question, one that our entire coaching staff knows, and it boils down to "based on our very extensive research and preparation, that it what we felt would work best." |

It's on the front page man. Has been all day. |
| 15 hours 46 min ago | No one has ever said "Trey |
No one has ever said "Trey Burke is too short for the NBA." So this doesn't put anything to rest. The knock is that he lacks ideal NBA size, and this doesn't refute that. Chris Paul is extremely good despite his size. This is like saying Jeremy Gallon doesn't lack ideal NFL WR size because Steve Smith. All this proves is that a couple guys burke's size have made it in the NBA, but we already knew that. It still makes him shorter than most who play the position. |

Yeah, I agree that sounds a little hard to believe. Many kids don't visit schools (especially officially) that haven't offered. I thought Peppers hadn't yet visited Stanford, is that true? And I'm sure he has an offer. |

Snip it homey. Then you can do all the baby making you want without making any babies. |
| 17 hours 53 min ago | I totally agree with you, but |
I totally agree with you, but I think it's because he committed early and without drama. Dymonte Thomas was probably our best recruit in last year's class and he got very little hype as the season went on. Bad he committed a year later, it would have been totally different. DTs also don't have the other hype factors like "check out his latest 100m time" or "check out his Elite 11 video" and he hasn't been all over twitter recruiting other guys. So there's not a lot of new things to say about Mone other than "yep, he's still really good." |

Why do say too much? It almost sounds like you're cheering against him. |
| 18 hours 2 min ago | I have a Shane Morris |
I have a Shane Morris autographed yellow first down marker. It was the one ABC used for the OSU game last year. It's probably worth a ton but it takes up so much damn space that I'm not sure it's worth it. |
| 18 hours 15 min ago | I agree with your Elite 11 |
I agree with your Elite 11 criticism, but the examples you use aren't great in that this purports itself as a primarily passing competition, and the guys you mentioned gained either much or most of their success as runners. Those guys could all run the football very well, and that's tough to measure at a passing clinic. |
| 18 hours 19 min ago | I think that's one of those |
I think that's one of those situations where people take a word that already means something and make it mean something else. I think he means tall, as if a short person is crooked, or something. I have this same issue with "organic" food. As if non-organic food is made out of rocks or metal or something. |
| 19 hours 24 min ago | Yeah, he didn't look great, |
Yeah, he didn't look great, but he was a RS fresh who wasn't getting many reps. Now he's a bigger RS Soph who is getting first team reps at OG and second team reps at OC. I know we don't have a ton of depth, but he's getting those reps over Burzinski, who hasn't looked that bad in the past, Bars, Braden and Bryant who are scholarship guys, and Bosch who was highly touted. Like you said, this might be all talk, but it's not like there's no competition, so if he wins the spot I don't think we should worry about it just because he's a walk on. |

Yes, Michigan recruited very well under Lloyd. We typically brought in a 5 star or two every year with top 5-10ish classes annually. |
