In-state 2023 C/OG Dylan Senda announcing today

Submitted by Magnus on December 20th, 2021 at 8:22 AM

Dearborn (MI) Divine Child center/offensive guard Dylan Senda is announcing his commitment today. He put out a video naming a final four of Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, and Northwestern. Steve Wiltfong (Michigan) and Sean Scherer (Michigan State) both put in 247 crystal balls for Michigan.

Senda is a composite 3-star, the #25 interior offensive lineman, #396 overall, and #10 in the state for 2023.

That follow-up visit really locked up the commitment--the so-called Return to Senda.

...hm...well uh

...each of the other three schools will be a Prisoner of Senda?

all right i'm done here

apologies

For comparison sake, in the 2022 class the cutoff between 4 star and 3 star was Kevonte Henry at #377.

So #396 in the composite is pretty close to 4* territory with plenty of time to move up (or down).

There are also 3x the number of scouted prospects in 2022 compared to 2023. The way this usually works, he'd have to go out to camps and kill it to stay flat or move up. Otherwise he'd likely float downwards to ~500th overall. Regardless, Michigan takes plenty of OL in that range, and we'll likely have a big OL class next year so he'll definitely belong.

and really does he NEED to go to camps when he already has a Michigan and other offers?

Needs to keep improving and playing well but he doesn't really need to impress recruiting services once he has offers from the big programs he was trying to impress.

it only helps the services.
