...if this will provide any solace, but Michigan lost 4 games this season to teams that are a combined 44-3. (That said, 3 of those losses were winnable.) I saw nothing this season to make me think that we shouldn't be optimistic about the future of Michigan football. |

I share Brian's man-love for Dennis Norfleet. The kid is going to be exciting to watch for the next 4 years. I think he should get consideration for the #1 uniform and it should honor Anthony Carter. I'm old enough to have seen AC play and he was an electrifying kick returner as well as WR. The criteria for the number shouldn't have anything to do with position, but the players ability to be "exciting". I can't define it, but know it when I see it and Norfleet has it. |

was a teammate of Hal Morris, Chris Sabo and Casey Close at Michigan. I believe he was also a heavily recruited DB. BL was a solid to very good MLB player, but I'm not convinced he's HoF material. Congrats to him nonetheless.

...to Bob Ufer's radio broadcasts. His enthusiasm and excitement were contagious and caused a kid from Bay City to grow up a rabid fan. Besides, my parents were MSU fans (mom is a sparty) and I could not stand their colors.
