Lastly, if you have Instagram, go ahead and give my man Cam @themichiganpage a follow.
He's been doing this for a long time, and has built by far the biggest Michigan fan following on social media.

Thanks for (multiple times now) linking back to previous posts in case anyone missed them. It helps quite a bit (you did it with one of my posts, too, and it really helped). The post traffic is phenomenal, but you're better.

Thank you to Mattinboots and Chaco below!

No Wyld Stallyns signature? Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:16 AM ^
That's nice.
Wondering when the time comes that we need to write the Big Ten. (I personally don't think it's quite yet.)
November 6th, 2023 at 11:27 AM ^
Nothing I want to say to these people should be put in writing.

I'm sure President Ono feels empowered by an endorsement from Tight and Shiny.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:29 AM ^
Sources indicate this particular endorsement was the primary inspiration for his strong response to the B1G

sounds like the text right below someone's Match.com photo
November 6th, 2023 at 11:17 AM ^
OK, I am glad this worked, but please don't "slide in to Santa's DMs" and make him uncomfortable. Please don't?!
November 6th, 2023 at 11:22 AM ^
Sounds like you know from experience?
November 6th, 2023 at 11:50 AM ^
Does it count if he slid into my DM's?
November 6th, 2023 at 11:18 AM ^
Nice to see Dana Nessel added her signature. That will give at least some pause for the Big Ten lawyers.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:21 AM ^
Is an endorsement from Dana Nessel a good thing? Serious question as thats the Michigan AG.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:24 AM ^
Uh if that is true that is an AWESOME thing. State governments have been very effective in making the NCAA back off in vastly more consequential investigations.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:36 AM ^
Dana's endorsement is an excellent thing.
She is very tenacious.
Her involvement would definitely be a positive for Michigan.
November 6th, 2023 at 2:54 PM ^
Except for those that are extremely partisan (both for politics and/or fandom), there is no way to view her endorsement as anything but good. Especially, as already pointed out, state AGs have already managed wins against the NCAA for far greater transgressions.

I enjoyed the signee "Ohio Sucks" under The Fort's contributions.

Look, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I promise you that no "instagram letter" has ever been "a success." If you think that President Ono was thinking, "Golly Gee, let's just fire Jim Harbaugh today for funsies... Oh wait! I got a letter on instagram asking me not to do so! I will reconsider!" then, to put it politely, you're delusional.
No letter was required for Dr. Ono to understand the feelings of the fanbase. Also, he's not a complete and utter moron, so one assumes he asks basic questions like "did the coach have anything to do with this? Is anybody even saying that he is?" before making important decisions.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:42 AM ^
Nobody is saying that. In fact, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with showing support to the one person that can make a big difference. Thank about it, if this was President Schlissel, what would he be doing? Probably not what President Ono is doing. So sit back, drink the lemonade, and watch the Michigan lawyers kick some ass.

Did somebody micturate upon your rug this morning?
November 6th, 2023 at 12:53 PM ^
Thy micturations are to me as plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:55 AM ^
Jesus man. Not everything needs to be business like. There is a place for that for sure in business. Ono is not going to make a decision based on Instagram post but letting him know doesn't hurt. Hope you don't treat your employees this way, if you are a supervisor. A kind word goes a long way.
November 6th, 2023 at 11:58 AM ^
So, try the inverse of your argument. If Ono had received a "letter" signed by a couple thousand fans in a few hours calling for Harbaugh's termination, you don't think it would have some influence in how he approaches the matter?
Expressions of support to a leader during a crisis, just like the support of fans in the stadium, can have an impact on outcomes. Measurable impact? Maybe when there is a large enough sample size and time series data in support. However, it is a safe bet that being passive and silent as a fan base and alumni base will not yield a better outcome.
Keep it up VanArbor, Cam, Chaco, and Mattingboots!

Dave Brandon says, "Hi guys"!
November 6th, 2023 at 1:17 PM ^
He also wishes you have a happy life.
November 6th, 2023 at 12:27 PM ^
I mean, there’s just so many arguments against this.
Eg. Has one vote ever changed the result of an election? Why do we still vote then?
November 6th, 2023 at 2:37 PM ^
Lol. People going at it over the "one vote" thing, and then voting the latest jackasses in. I'm sure that's a policy initiative all of Congress can get behind.
November 6th, 2023 at 12:51 PM ^
Your litany of bad takes during this entire saga have me just waiting for you to get sent to Bolivia for going too far. I promise you it's about to happen, and I'm surprised it hasn't already.
November 6th, 2023 at 1:08 PM ^
Look, I don't mean to rain on your parade
That is quite literally (figuratively speaking) what you are meaning to do.
November 6th, 2023 at 2:41 PM ^
Yelling "I'll never buy from this store again" when you're a $500/year customer of a $1,000,000+ profit box store is one thing. This is another.
In case you have Mr. Magoo eyes and a shrinking tomato brain go back and look at the comment posted slightly before yours, which indicates that some woman named Dana Nessel signed the "letter".
November 6th, 2023 at 11:40 AM ^
Thank you, vanarbor, for getting this set up! I’m proud to have my signature on it! Forever and always, Go Blue!
November 6th, 2023 at 12:20 PM ^
I will have to wait until my 17 year old daughter comes home from school to read this.
November 6th, 2023 at 12:48 PM ^
I'll have to ask my teenagers if I'm cool now that I got my digital name on Instagram.
November 6th, 2023 at 2:46 PM ^
You might be able to claim they need to stay out of trouble because you and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel are close. Your signatures can't be that far apart.
