I was wrong, and I got lazy and didn't check the board. But with all due respect, I never said I was leaving the board before this, I simply said I was going to stop doing recruiting stuff. I like the guys on the board, and I apologize for double posting. It completely slipped my mind to check the board first. For that, I certainly do apologize.
I didn't post on here for about a month when USC took the lead for Isaac. I also told this board before any of the insiders did that Ty was going to make a decision soon, because he was tired of the process. Again, go back and look at what I wrote. Two days later, rivals posted the same thing. On Poggi, I was a firm and consistent poster saying he was going to Michigan. Please, show me where I said Poggi was going to Alabama. I also said that he was a smart kid whom education would play a huge part for him, and it was the deciding factor. I also told this board that David Dawson, and Logan Tuley Tillman would commit on the day they did. I'm sorry I didnt know more, but I only knew about those things because they were also being recruited by Alabama. Forgive me for calling Isaac to Michigan two months ago when everybody else did you, and not posting anything else about it for a month. I tried to post things as much as I could because I like a lot of the people on this board.
People attacking me for being wrong on Isaac is absolutely absurd.
I NEVER predicted Poggi to Alabama. If people will recall, I simply said the word around campus was that Bama was favored. Also, if people would go back, I constantly said that poggi's personality and the environment in the south didn't mesh. Someone show me where I said I thought Poggi was going to Alabama. Also, I'm not the only one who missed on Isaac. Most all of the analysts whiffed as well. But of course, whenever I'm wrong, I'm the only one ever remembered for it.
My statement on Poggi last night was what was being said on campus. If people recall, I said he was a Michigan lean on several occasions. Anybody who reads what I write will tell you that.
It appears as of he's set to announce mid to late June. It's hard to say anything definitive about Green, but he really hasn't set a timeline, so anything is possible.
I don't speak to players, nor have I ever claimed to. Also on several occasions I've claimed that I am NOT a recruiting insider. It is difficult trying to talk about other teams recruits, but when they are national recruits, then coaches do talk. I'm sorry if anyone thinks I'm a recruiting insider.
To correct something someone said earlier, I never said that EJ Levenberry would commit to Michigan. I simply said that the schools were so evenly matched that it could go either way. People simply took that as saying he was leaning towards Michigan. EJ pretty much confirmed my thoughts with his interview on why he chose FSU. The only one that I'll take complete and utter responsibility for is Isaac.
I promise to make up for it on Monday. Lots of good 2014 info, it'll be more fun than getting a speeding ticket in the pouring rain just to watch the cop have to get soaked.
I think this is a last chance visit for USC. I think he'll decide shortly afterwards, but I think Michigan will get another visit before hand as well. Don't believe a lot of what you hear regarding his recruitment, because this is a kid who said he wasn't taking anymore visits just two days ago. He's probably sending mixed signals, because some kids don't like anyone knowing too much about them.
I wish more of the Saints players would have been punished. What a disgrace to the game that is. I have no tolerance for trying to injure someone on the field.
It went ok from what I'm hearing. I don't think Alabama fits his personality as well as Michigan does. I've said this before, but I think Michigan has a clear lead on him. Poggi is a smart kid, his parents also want him to go to a highly rated academic institution. In terms of ratings and football tradition, Michigan would be hard to beat Michigan for Poggi.
If he does sign with the Tide, then Saban clearly sold him on his pro potential.
That he was there to see Shane Morris. This is just Saban doing his due dilligence. This is standard practice in the SEC, where there are no "committed" players. Saban thinks Shane Morris is the best QB in the country, through sources I can tell you that is true.
I'd say (based upon what I've heard) I'd say Michigan is the safe bet. His father loves FSU, but EJ loves Michigan. His mother coming on the trip with him to Michigan is a damn good sign for Michigan.
I was going to say something last weekend, but I thought I'd keep my mouth shut. When he said "I was going to commit, but I thought that was being greedy without seeing every other school", I knew he wasn't going to Michigan. For those of you that don't know, that's recruit speak for "Someone make a big deal over me!". Which good for him, that's the way it should be if f that's how he wants his recruitment to go. In my experience, it's the rare kid who says "he would've committed" or something to that degree, that actually goes to that school that he would've committed to. Most recruits are very vague, or give generic responses. Kids who do give the generic responses, is a sign of a kid who has solid adults and coaches around him.
His troubles will follow him to Ohio State. Like we are fond of saying in the south, if you put a fox in the hen house, you'll have chicken for dinner every night. He hasn't, nor will he ever change who he is.

RDT it.
If it didn't come from me, the rumor isn't worth the paper it's written on. -RDT
Do you think anyone pretending to be from Alabama has ever seen a show on PBS?
Like, for real.
Mods, I got this. Please direct all of your hate away from the football program, and directly at me. Thanks.

Man, these Ohio State fans are really going the extra mile to keep Ohio recruits from going to Michigan. #It'sNotCrazyIt'sSports

Hahahahahahahahaha.
I'm finished.
I enjoyed that.
