The only confusing aspect is the part about Ohio fans not being happy about it; that piece of information pointed to other players.
Easiest explanation, if in fact Poggi is the silent commit: either we read too much into the 11W tweet, or the tweeter was mistaken.

Not me, I'd actually prefer Poggi over Green, albeit only by a little. Green looks Iike a great RB, but I really like Smith. We've only brought in so many true DTs in the last few years, and only one so far in this class. Poggi makes me very excited.

I think DT is a bigger area of need at the moment than RB. It will be great if we end up with both though :)

Plus, in terms of need and likely contribution, I'd argue that Poggi is a bigger get than Green. (Don't get me wrong, though... I'd love to get Green, too.)
