I have a 4K TV and I actually pay DirecTV extra for 4K.
My 4K TV upscales everything to 4K (most native broadcasts are 1080i). I've watched football on an actual 4K stream and it's barely noticeable versus the upscaled broadcast. In short -- a big nothing burger ...
Class of 85 -- I trayed a few times my Freshman year in Markley . Had to go to Health Services because I flew off of my tray and landed on my thumb (broke it).
Who would think that you couldn't see a roll in the ground that would send you flying off of your tray when it's pitch dark ??
Laquon's uncle passed away and that was the reason that he didn't make the UM/MSU game this past weekend. He still lists Michigan as favorite for Laquon with OU and OSU laying waiting in the weeds ...
Has anyone really watched Denard this year ? Any team with a decent D (which Purdue has) should beat us. Until Denard proves that he can complete passes to our team, especially on the road, I'm not optimistic.
How much $$$ do you spend at a bar for 4 hours, eating and drinking ?? Could easily pay for a lower tier package and not have to fight with Sparty fan at the bar ;-)
1. I found it peculiar that they chose running highlights for the opening 1:30. I did like what I saw and wish that Denard would utilize his feet this way. It was a quick read and if it wasn't there, pull it down and take off (I think Denard made too many questionable throws when he had room to run). Very decisive and he looked pretty fast.
2. Not sure why his receivers get bashed here. I saw many good catches with good, clean routes.
3. I like the way Shane gashed 2-deep zones (Tampa Two) -- not an easy thing to do (ask Tim Tebow).
While highlights only show the good plays, it's exciting to see the potential of Shane. Looking forward to the future !!
On my 21st birthday, a bunch of buddies and myself went to Ricks for the traditional 21 shot fest. I think I was on shot 17 or so when I had to blow chunks in the Men's room (I'm sure I was the one and only to ever blow in there). After I relieved myself, I went back inside and finished the rest of my shots. My buddies were very impressed that I was able to finish what I started. Like Tom Brady, I'm pretty sure I went home alone that night - stuttering drunk 21 year olds just don't pull the ladies, even at Ricks ...
If he goes early, I'd be amazed. As it is now, I scratch my head every game wondering how/why we don't have someone on the bench that can play better than THJ. The fact that he gets as much PT as he does tells me that Belein sees a better player in practice and is hoping/expecting to see that translate in games eventually.
I actually thought that MSU was allowing THJ and Evan to take their shots whenever/wherever they wanted. Why wouldn't they ? Neither guy could hit anything. That allowed them to have 5-on-3 against Burke, Novak, Douglas or Morgan -- tough to beat that !
Have you really watched THJ handle the ball ?? He is a turnover waiting to happen whenever he puts the ball on the floor. You are correct that the team has a totally different look -- that's because they are backpeddling after he turns it over ...
He was verbally committed to UCinn. We swooped in and stole him in the 11th hour. Hoke dirty ??
No way -- he wanted Michigan as much as Pittman wanted OSU. If anything, our timing was waaay worse than Ohio's -- no chance/time to recover for UCinn. They took Stacey with plenty of time for us to regroup and focus more on Diamond/Kozan/Garnett ...
Based on everything I've seen written and said, Diamond keeps everything with a neutral slant. I get zero confidence beyond a one in five chance based on his final five.
Garnett, on the other hand, shows nothing but love towards Michigan, the other recruits, the coaches, etc. he's also narrowed it down to two finalists. Based on that alone, we have two and a half times better chance of success with Josh. If you take the intangibles into account, I'm 75/25 in favor of Michigan.
I believe the so called experts are guessing based on old data and geography. I'm confident on Garnett and have no idea with Diamond ...
On the surface, Ohio looks like they're in good shape. Best friend committed, Urb, etc. Just look at the tweet in the OP and what that means. Same with Garnett. Have you seen either of these guys tweeting anything personal about Ohio or Stanford players/recruits/coaches ? Absolutely not (I follow both players on Twitter).
Obviously, there's no science to predicting what an 18 year old kid is thinking -- believe me, I have one of my own !! That being said, their tweets are a subtle way of tipping their hands as to which way they are leaning at that particular moment. With both Reeves and Garnett, I believe they are leaning our way (at least they are at this particular moment).
I saw that tweet and immediately smiled. The kid is doing a great job ! Think about him recruiting for us for the next 5 years and beyond. Unbelievable resource and treasure :-)
Last I remember during Armani's OV, Mattison had him rolling because he was singing or dancing or something. There's a definite rapore with Greg already.
Urban's too stiff -- Mattison will bring him home :-)
So Gunner has decommitted from IU and LSU so far. A little indecisive ?? How the heck will he react on third and eight with PeeWee bearing down on him in the ND backfield ?? I can't wait to see what happens ...
Rivals shows that he was recruited by Tony Gibson who just bolted to Arizona with Rich Rod. I would guess that the kid should be open but may wait until Pitt names their new HC.
If BD were to choose USC, it would solve two problems:
1) It's a pro-style offense that features Tail Backs
2) It's not UofM -- people in Ohio would just say, "Oh well ..."
Obviously, it's 2500 miles away from home and they only play ND in S.Bend every other year so his family wouldn't be able to see him play. I also have no idea of the depth chart at Tail Back -- I would venture to guess that they are deeper than we are at that position so playing time would be harder to come by.
It's been pretty obvious this recruiting season that UofM sees a RB in this class as a luxury and not a necessity. They could easily grab another OL/DL or CB or even an additional WR. They already grabbed the kid from Pioneer so they actually have a RB already. If it came down to Dunn or Diggs, I think I'd rather see a gamebreaker like Diggs ...
While I agree that the crew doing The Game was second rate, I have to admit that I thought Spileman did a great job. His insight is first-rate and I really did not see any homerism to his team. Had to be tough but he did a great job that didn't go unnoticed.
After watching the film of PeeWee, he is going to need some work -- not sure he can step into a starting role. Watch his technique -- stands straight up (think BWC). I'm sure that our coaches can help him a ton but he is still pretty raw.
I would expect him to possibly redshirt or get into the line up on a spot basis. If he started early next season, I'd be surprised ...
Seriously, I've never seen a worse throwing QB than Denard. I like the Percy Harvin strategy w/Devin at QB (I'd at least like to see what it looks like on the field). You can go to the wildcat as a change-up.
Don't you want your 11 best athletes on the field ? How can Gardner on the bench be beneficial ?
On WTKA this morning (or yesterday), Bacon stated that RRod was not happy with this book (not sure if he got an advanced copy). That tells me that it was not written as an apology.
Bummer that this book is coming out of the shoot at $14.99 on the Kindle. That's waaay high for any eBook in my opinion. I'll be waiting for the price to drop and to see some reviews ...

I actually like his analysis. Never really liked him as a Buckeye but I enjoy his segments on BTN ...
Put on by "The Michigan Mudbowl Club" which is comprised of a core of ex-SAE's and some non-greeks too.

Who will be our Shane Morris of Team #135 ??
Here are some of my thoughts:

When Jaron's team played Burrows team, he lit them up for 170 yards and 2 TD's. He's tall with excellent hands -- kinda reminds me of Hemingway ...
This commit will turn up the heat on Laquon Treadwell. I doubt they'll take more than two WR's ...

Lots of time for JP to jerk around Mora Jr, RR, Kiffin, etc. I can understand being torn between many options but not to be that indecisive ...
I agree with your assessment based on all the pro-Blue communication coming directly from Garnett.
I'd put $$$ on Garnett to Michigan. It's a lock ...

I follow Devin on Twitter. I can honestly say that his tweets are all over the place and rarely have anything to do with football.
He's refreshingly goofy and surprisingly candid with his tweets. It could be anything but I really doubt is has anything to do with transferring ...

Is Insider included for the duration of the subscription (assuming you sign up for 3 years) or is it just one year of Insider ?

Sam Webb just tweeted that Brionte was impressed by Meyer.
Understandable under any circumstances. I'm sure the kid's head is swimming with confusion right now.
