well that's just, like, your opinion, man
Twitter is so confusing! I'm only 20 and it makes me feel like I'm 70. Who's doing the talking in the last one, there are two "and me too"'s
Edit: Nvm, just saw strobel's username
twitter needs a better way to do nested tweets
Twitter is definitely not as easy to understand as it should be...
I agree. I don't have a clue who is saying what and to who when I read these things.
But it was Shane Morris who added an extra 'Me Too!'
Meyer probably tried to explain away the fact that the tailback position was an afterthought in his offense. He had zero 1,000-yard rushers at tailback in his six years at UF.
Something about him is just off. Don't you think? Even his espn interview was awkward with long pauses and he looked... Unsure and apologetic.
I watched his intro press conference and I thought the same thing. Maybe I'm being a homer, but it doesn't seem from his demeanor that he's 'all in', so to speak.
He was the same way at the Florida press conference
Maybe he is like Christopher Walken in the Stepford Wives?!
Someone needs to drop that stat on him quick.
He has two National Championships. Who the hell cares about 1,000 yard rushers. I really don't get the Urban hate in terms of what he has done in the world of college football. He has won everywhere and he didn't simply win at FL because of Tebow. There was a guy named Chris Leak there when Tebow was a situational gimmick. The guy will win. I don't think he will win more than Hoke over the next 10 years but he will win. In fact, him+Braxton Miller scares the hell out of me.
That's a good point, but I think you're missing the argument here. Brionte wants to have a chance to play in a prostyle offense which will then best help him get to the NFL. Meyer has not produced that type of player or used that type of player in his offense. Dunn doesn't like that offense as a result. If Dunn goes to OSU and isn't used properly, it might hinder him from accomplishing other goals, like playing in the NFL, even if he is on a national championship team.
It realy scares the hell out of you? Pussy.
You could have at least come up with something new rather than simply calling him names. At least be a little more creative!
Who the hell cares about 1000 yeard rushers? Guys going to college to rush the football. That's who.
who are strong NFL hopefulls. Meyer is a great coach, no doubt, but he's not the right one for a guy that wants to be an NFL RB (or QB, some may argue).
Stirring the Tebow pot I see, well played sir.
On paper, he didn't get any more out of Chris Leak than Ron Zook.
I'm not going to argue that he's a bad coach, but there's no way he has the same four year stretch without Tim Tebow. So the question is whether he can find another player like that (not to mention defense and coaching staff).
Hopefully Dymonte knows this fact. He'll be sure to remind Brionte often.
according to a scout article, Urban will be making an in a house visit this week and they talked about how dunn would fit in the offense over the phone.
Pretty sure Fred Jackson is visiting him in house as well. When Dunn hears he can be the next Anthony Thomas cross bred with Tim Biakabutuka, but with the heart and determination of Mike Hart, he might turn blue.
..."with the heart and determination of Mike Hart" but *fast*.
Edit: damn you 3g you have failed me once again....
i'm confused. are you saying that Brionte Dunn is like the 4G version of Mike Hart??
(ok ok that was terrible)
Well played, yes as well.
not that bad. don't be so hard on urself.
He would fit into the O as the situational power runner, something all O's need. Tebow fit that bill at FL fortunately for Meyer along with everything else possible. Dunn is not a situational runner though; he is, and should be, a features back.
But somehow I think Meyer told him he would run pro-style, just to get him into the fold.
Meyer's offense is good, but it isn't flexible. Just ask John Brantley how good Meyer is at accommodating pro-style players...
Unfortunately for Dunn, Michigan should be running quite a bit of spread next year -- however with Morris coming in (and Gardner's height and passing ability), I hope Dunn recognizes that we are truly moving into a pro-style offense.
Michigan runs the spread and still gets a 1,000 yard RB along with Denard. All Urban had for running was Tebow at Florida. And with Gardner the offense will be a lot more pro set heavy, and then with Shane it will almost cetainly be all pro with some shotgun thrown in.
"All Urban had for running was Tebow at Florida"
Percy Harvin disagrees with you. But he was completely different than Dunn
Percy Harvin was a slot, and kind of a mix around get the ball in his hands however you can kind of guy. By no means did he regularly run the ball.
scat/slot ≠ feature RB
So he was able to be used differently. We can say our sub 4.4 guy is the QB, so we'll need to tote the rock.
Sub 4.2 speed, I was there when he ran the 4.18, that kid is blazing fast.
That's not really the issue. Toussaint topped 1,000 yards rushing this year and will probably exceed that next year. It's not the spread per se, but the Meyer version of the spread that doesn't make the tailback the primary rusher.
I bet it would if he had Dunn.
You think none of his Florida teams had talented running backs?
...but I don't think anyone he's ever coached has played a down at RB in the NFL. That could mean he never recruited talent at the position or it could mean talent was wasted....
has played some downs as running back for the Vikings.
I don't think it takes anything away from the argument, but you're right.
Jeff Demps, Chris Rainey, Mon Williams, Chevon Walker, Bo Williams, and Emmanuel Moody were all 4-star RB recruits. Either Meyer got extremely unlucky and went 0-for-6 in recruiting good players, or he doesn't have a clue how to use or develop RBs.
Meyer more resembles the RichRod spread with the QB running the ball majority of the time, and the RB becomes an extra blocker. I can see why Dunn wouldn't want to join up in that. He wants the ball.
Steve Slaton went over 1,000 three times playing for West Virginia. Running Backs unfortunately never stayed healthy while RichRod was at U of M -- Fitz could have contributed a lot in 2010 had he not been the sideline, and Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown also could have gotten a lot more yards had they not been constantly injured, even on the horrible 2008 team.
they play in a shit conference with NO top defensive teams (or offensive teams either). Their success was very Boise State like.
I think the comparison is fine. It isn't necessarily between Michigan and WV; its more of distinction between RR's spread offensive scheme and Urbans. RR offense ran in WV ran around 70% of the time and utilized RBs heavily. They weren't just lead blockers. As such Noel Devine wanted to play in the offense. It doesn't exactly matter that the Big East doesn't have elite defenses but during RR's time there the Big East had some elite offenses (Louisville, WV, and Rutgers/Ray Rice). I don't know why you are so frustrated about the WV comparison. The poster was just explaining that RR used RBs when he had them. We just didn't exactly have any we could use effectively when he was here, since he overlooked Minor the first season and after giving Minor the reigns not being able to pass might fly in the Big East but not the Big Ten. Then Minor was injured most of 2009. Shit.
"West Virginia's freshman running back Steve Slaton was named the game's MVP, having rushed for a Sugar Bowl-record 204 yards and 3 touchdowns"
Are you going to argue that Georgia won the SEC without a good defense?
So Big East = bad means that RR didn't like to have a RB that ran the ball? Please explain this logic to me, I can't understand it at all.
According to Wikipedia, after Urban Meyer landed his HC job at Bowling Green, he made several trips to visit spread offense head coaches to learn from them. One of them was Rich Rod at WVU. The article goes on to say that he used a lot from RR with some tweeks.
So basically, 2006 FLA was RR + GMatt = National Championship. Kind of kidding, but really interesting..
The thing that is concerning is that in each of Toussaint's 3 seasons, he has spent a considerable portion of the time injured or banged up. RB is a high contact position, and he has a reputation of being fragile. If he gets banged up early next season, we go back to having no RB to take the pressure off Denard. We need Dunn.
I wouldn't say we need him, after all next year Rawls could be a bigger factor so that if Dunn does come here, he could land a RS
A guy of Dunn's caliber is extremely unlikely to redshirt. It just doesn't happen.
I thought Fitz is a redshirt soph and it's only his 2nd year playing?
We didn't beat Meyer in '08 using the pro-style offense. We were primarily a spread team in that game and it worked great. OSU beat us the previous year by coming out 4 wide and we never adjusted properly. The reason we're able to beat SEC teams and compete for B1G titles is because we typically have better athletes on our side of the ball. We might shift away from the zone read offense after Gardner, but we shouldn't totally go I-form, 2 TE.
Michigan commits showing Dunn a lot of love...I'm curious if OSU commits show him this much love?
Kalis and Magnuson are constantly in his ear, along with Shane. Urban Meyer said himself, at his press conference, that your best recruiters are often the players, and in this case, Michigan is winning. This won't last much longer...
I think he'll GO BLUE rather quickly.
He has to if he wants to early enroll.
When does he have to be enrolled by to be considered an EE?
I would guess when classes start. I would also gues when he enrolls into classes.....just a guess though.
He could just show up to class at Michigan in January and let that speak for itself. I honestly think that would be pretty cool.
...someone on MGoBlog would "break" the news, by searching the Michigan Student Registry the week before and see that he's enrolled before he even steps on campus.
OH NO HE DIDENT!
Classes start on January 4 (pdf). The last day for drop/add and I believe the last day to enroll for winter term is January 24. A couple years ago, we had the question about whether Devin Gardner would early enroll. He did, but he did so late. I don't know how when Dunn commits affects his ability to early enroll. You've got to figure there has to be some time for the HS and the University to get the paperwork together. I believe that was one of the issues with Gardner.
they did promise him tattoos though.
Too many factors going Michigan's way on this one.
The biggest factors: Hoke will run a pro style offense after next year, and his cousin will be going to Michigan. Since Dunn may very well RS unless he realy impresses, he may never encounter the spread at Michigan.
Never underestimate the power of free tattoos, cars, money, etc. Remember when Pryor was perfect for RR's system and somehow he went to the Bucks where he never learned how to play QB?
Pryor got sold that Tressel would help him become an NFL ready prospect. That didn't exactly go over well, but that's what sold him. Michigan is selling Dunn on the offense and family. The recruits in this class are becoming very family like, and I love that. Getting good chemistry before they even start playing together.
If you still think that Pryor only went to OSU because of Tressel's style of offense, I really don't know what to tell you. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the very special connection that Ted Sarniak and Tressel were forming down there in Columbus.
Sarniak was from the same town Pryor was from?
Sarniak is not from Columbus (he's actually a ND fan from PA).
In fact, the NCAA is investigating allegations from Sarniak/Tressel that one of the schools that was recruiting Pryor offered him "extra benefits". Don't be shocked to see this in Oregon's NOA soon.
I have a cousin who teaches high school history at Canton Glenoak. He says Dunn has been Blue the entire time. According to him, Dunn wants to enroll early to be ready for Alabama. No worries Michigan, Dunn has been and will go blue. He's just an attention whore..
That's how he is. My cousin has said numerous times he had caught Dunn talking to the Glenoak AD about attending Michigan. Frankly, he wants to be pursued and to pick a hat on signing day. That's how he is. But according to my sources, which are VERY reliable, Dunn will put on the Michigan hat come signing day.
My apologies...just repeating I've heard from Glenoak faculty..
Could it be that maybe the Glenoak faculty is made up of mostly Buckeye fans? I wouldn't call a kid an attention whore who barely gave out any information or interviews during this entire process. I also wouldn't call a kid an attention whore when you want him to get that attention as a star running back for your team.
There may be jealousy of his possible decision to attend Michigan. I'm not sure. Again, I didn't mean to start rumors. I only tried to report what I had hears from someone who sees and interacts with Dunn on the daily..
This sort of makes sense. What high school football player wouldn't want to tweet "Just talked to Urban Meyer." If he likes attention, what better way to get it?
Did you cousin say he's an attention whore or are you saying that? If I were in his position, I wouldn't announce so that I wouldn't have to put up with the stuff that Kalis put up with.
And I'm repeating what my cousin said. I am in no position to judge Dunn's character. I am just hoping he goes Blue!
I hope you are right my good sir. If not, could mean Bolivia for you.
all 21 of his points!!!
Can't go negative anymore?
it's not as big of a loss as going negative from 1000 points. And remember, MGoPoints are scientifically proven to be correlated with self-esteem.
think that I was planning all along to trade my mgopoints for a beer at Ashley's.
it even goes further than that. When my M-Go point total goes up, my man junk looks bigger to me....When it goes down..... Shrinkage......
*Bolivian, not Bolivia.
Could've done without that last sentence. Don't be an asshole.
A-hole? Sorry I quoted a faculty member that observes his behavior every day..
Just because this person said it to you doesn't mean you've gotta say it here. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but he's a kid making a huge decision and to call him an attention whore for taking his time does no one any good.
Excuse my language. I meant no harm or slander with my words. I apologize. I only meant to say that he will make his decision in his own time and enjoys the pursuit of big time schools.
You said what you said..I like getting info in context .. I got your back...Some people on here act like little girls...Thanks again for that info...
I'm an attention whore when I pick what kind of coffee I want at Starbucks. I have no idea how I would be if I had to pick something this public/awesome.
Yes, same. I mean, I'm a lot older than Brionte Dunn and, hell, I'd like to be tweeting that I talked to Urban Meyer...right now. Just because it would be so random and so much more interesting than what my day was today. Or most days. Or any day. Fuck. Don't knock the kid for milking it.
This person was an OSU fan and knew that Kalis had dominated his friend's son or something like that, regularly blocking through the whistle even though the kid was a lot smaller than Kalis. This person is a very smart person (he has a PhD, and not from OSU, so he's not your normal OSU fan) and is usually very agreeable.
On the outside I said "Oh" and on the inside I said "Good."
Point is, everyone has their "side", whether it is because they whooped their friend's small son, or are switching their commitments. Everything should be taken with a grain of salt.
After seeing the backlash Kyle Kalis received, I can see why Dunn would want to keep his final decision -- if Michigan, as quiet for as long as possible. If he's going to UM, he'll be in class in Ann Arbor in about a month. That seems smart.
Very true. Kalis has taken it like a champ, and has had other Michigan commits help him through it. Very family like with this class.
We haz it?
The Boren family sure doesn't.
there are limits. Who in their right mind would want to expose themselves and the people close to him to anything close to what Kalis went through?
I think I'll just make this my last read of the night so that I can remain optimistic.
I can't believe I'm about to put blind trust in some random guy from the Internet..... But I am. You better not fail me
Again, I'm not trying to throw something out there to give me points. I say only what my cousin who teaches high school history at Glenoak had told me on the last holiday. He had watched, talked to, and interacted with Dunn for a couple of years now. I only repeat what he has told me.
How he acts among his peers may look like what you describe from the perspective of your cousin, but let's recognize that he's a star HS football player projecting to be a star college football player. He's probably used to getting a lot of attention.
If he was what your cousin is calling him, he'd have an open recruitment and be flying around the country to get feted by the likes of Nick Saban and everyone else who'd like to have a top notch RB in this recruiting class. And don't forget that recruits read this board. You just told Dunn, his friends or his cousin what your cousin thinks and identified him pretty well. Calling Dunn names here doesn't do anyone any good, and it certainly doesn't make the UM fanbase look very good.
It'd be nice if people didn't call HS kids that they don't know names on the internet, but i guess some people are just attention whores.
I'm so confused. What the hell is happening. I don't understand tweets.
Dunn said he just got off the phone with Meyer. Dymonte said he better go to Michigan or they're no longer cousins. Strobel and Shane retweeted it, saying ditto, in a joking way of course.
The first tweet is Brionte Dunn. The next two are Dymonte. Then the last one is Shane responding to Tom Strobel who responded to Dymonte's tweet about them being cousins. Does that make sense?
It's confusing, but once you get on Twitter, you're used to how it works.
Thanks. It seemed that was the case, but I thought there might be more actual substance to it then just Morris, Thomas, and Strobel teasing him about committing. I should probably get a twitter account to get more accustomed with it.
You should. It's an invaluable source for information.
I jus hope he doesnt blow smoke up his u kno what.......HOKE AND CO. LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS
Just remember, Urban himself called Mattison the best recruiter in the country. Greg and Dan Mullen are the ones that got Tim Tebow to Florida. Now he has to fight against Greg, and possibly Dan if the rumors are true and he takes the Penn State job in the offseason.
+1 for the Kristi Malzahn reference.
i think my ears are bleeding
Again, I'm not Ace or TomVH. But just repeating what my cousin has told me
Sure, since no one is "commited" until they sign their letter of intent.
I go to check my E-Mail this morning and there he is, sigh, Urban Meyer and recruits drooling to play for him.....i am so sick and tired of seeing this crap. Who is afraid of Meyer? I say, "BRING IT"
Florida fans act like they never lost to us in the Capital One bowl in 08', but we all know it happened and Urban had Tebow, Harvin, Brandon Spikes,..etc. Now Florida fans accept that they lost and now hate him because he leaves when things get tough.
Not to mention how he did Matt Elam and Sherriff Floyd.....and the 30 arrest under Meyer's watch.
Am I alone in thinking that Urban Meyer came off as a very poor public speaker at his press conference? His rhetorical skills are lacking compared to some other big time college coaches, namely, Brady Hoke. Meyer came off as overly nervous, robotic, unsure of himself, and didn't really touch on anything that would have any OSU recruits or fans fired up.
Contrast that with Brady Hoke, who has a form of rhetoric that portrays a very passionate, sincere, and charming man who always has a big smile on his face and said right away that we "MUST BEAT OHIO" as he stared into the crowd while pounding his fist on the podium
I'm interested to hear why Meyer is so successful at recruiting because I just did not see it. Give me Brady Hoke every day of the week. As a person, as a coach, and as a representative of Michigan.
Obviously that didn't hold true because one of the first things Muschamp did when he got the job was to kick off his best player in Janoris Jenkins. Can't remember many players getting kicked off Meyer's teams even with all of the arrests.
His championships came from Ron Zook recruits and players recruited and coached up by Mattison/Strong/Mullen.
Urban Meyer is a charmless non-charismatic coach. You're signing with him because you hope he can recreate Florida circa 2006 at Ohio. Not because you would run through a wall for him.
I really do. You can tell that he so badly wants to go to Ohio. Everything in his heart is telling him that he belongs there. His head however realizes (like the rest of us) that it makes no sense, especially now with the incoming spread offense and sanctions. How many big backs have put up big numbers in a spread offense? What Meyer RB has ever done anything in the NFL (or college really for that matter)? The kid is torn and having to make one of the toughest decisions of his life and I don't envy him. If he wants to be a glorified FB and rack up 600 yards a year then by all means go to Ohio though, follow your head Bri'onte.
This was kind of my argument, but we did just see our TB (Fitz) post a 1,000 yard year [and his big production didn't even start until late in the season].
Fitz could post very impressive numbers next year.
Can we stop with this "wants to go to OSU deep down in his heart" thing? We have no idea. Even if he's telling people that, which I sincerely doubt, who knows if he's telling the truth?
If he didn't really want to go to Ohio badly then what's the hold up? The only thing holding him to Ohio right now is the fact that he is a fan of their program, there is no rational reason for him wanting to go to that school in the shape it is right now. Maybe you're right and maybe I'm wrong but from where I'm sitting and all the information I've seen on him that's how it is coming across.
Maybe his heart is completely sold on Michigan (loves the coaches, fellow recruits, players, etc.) but his head tells him that if he goes to UM he'll be treated poorly every time he goes back home to Ohio. Maybe he's a head-before-heart guy and making a purely rational decision. Maybe his heart is genuinely torn and that's the hold up.
We have no idea.
It's very possible you're correct, all we can do right now is speculate and I was just offering my opinion on what I have observed thusfar in his recruitment. No matter what I hope he ends up Blue because I think he can do great things here (and I'll take any chance I can to stick it to the Buckies). I just don't see how he can look at the two and not see the obvious choice if he wants to make the most of his ability but like you have said, we just don't know whats going on inside him.
Fair enough. I'm not trying to give you hell, especially on your first posts. There's a tendency around here for something to be said a few times, though, and then accepted as fact. If Dunn chooses Michigan, I don't want this "well, his heart is in Columbus" thing to stick to him.
If this is how he really feels he shouldn't come here. I don't mean to be rude or to say I don't want a guy who is not all in but if he really wants to go somewhere else he should for himself. I would love to have him and I think he would do great here but he shouldnt choose us if he, in his gut, really wants to be elsewhere. Still though Go Blue Dunn! Hopefully your heart will feel the same way as your head someday.
I'm confused...I thought the spread couldn't work in the Big Ten.
I do think he will be BLUE and so will ohio.......LMAO
Since he talked to Urban he has changed his twitter picture from one with ohio gear on to one of him on his Michigan official...just sayin.
He changed that earlier. It's been that pic since at least this afternoon, and the Meyer conversation only happened an hour ago or so.
it is a little weird that Ondre Pipkins has taken to Twitterp to ask UM brethren to lay off the Twitter onslought of Brionte. Let's take it down a notch, fellas.
Looking at Twitter is kind of creeping, the only reason I knew was because Sam Webb retweeted one of Bri'onte's tweets and I noticed. I'm sure he'll make the right choice, whatever that may be for him.
If one on you nerds are tweeting him encouraging him to come, I will not hesitate to go threat level midnight on your ass.
/internet tough guy
//hard decision is hard
"go threat level midnight on your ass" mean? (For the record, I don't even have a twitter account)
Visiting Michigan twice, having M commits in his ear and twitter all day, better system for him in the long run - looks like Hoke and Mattison have the kitty in the bag
Ondre Pipkins just tweeted this: "Attention all #UM #GoBlue fans let Brionte have sum space I'm sure he will make the right decision So let him be for a bit RT if understood"
I know we're excited about landing a top recruit, but this is still just a kid trying to make the biggest decision of his young life. Give him space .. his decision will come soon.
It's not easy to speak out like that. Cheers to him. Although I love recruiting news, we should let the dice fall first.
It's sort of a big decision and possible change.
Dude... It's not his fault people feel the need to break out the Rosetta Stone for every word he says
Spread or no spread. Urban Meyer or no Urban Meyer. The one really big thing going for us right now is the culture Hoke has created with his current players. He always has their backs and has made them into a Michigan Family this season Hoke has created a culture of higher purpose. It's not about him, it's not about an individual player, or recruit, it's about Michigan fer gods sake. Now our current recruits are buying into that culture and already are bonding as a team, a team, a team. Not all recruits will be college all americans but Hoke can guarantee an equal shot, world class education, and being part of the Michigan family. It's great top see these recruits already feel apart of Michigan. Love to have Dunn but no worries if he goes to Ohio. Michigan will be just fine.
I think every kid believes in this. Guy went from walk on to possibly captain next season.
Hoke is really changing the tide of the rivalry..
*crickets* Were you looking for a specific response?
I watched his intro press conference and I thought the same thing. Maybe I'm being a homer, but it doesn't seem from his demeanor that he's 'all in', so to speak.
Gotta love our recruits doin some recruiting of their own.
I like where your heads at.
That would be something if he could come in and be better than Toussaint (+ 10 pounds) next year.
Fitz is my guy next year. 1000 yards. 1-0 as a starter against osu. I hope we land BD but we have to go back to developing players so that they are primed and ready when needed. That's why the QB situation is perfect. Denard will have a strong senior year, than Devin tears it up for two years welcoming in SM.
You're leaving out a key component to any offense. The O-line, losing Molk will hurt badly.
Sam Webb just tweeted that Brionte was impressed by Meyer.
Understandable under any circumstances. I'm sure the kid's head is swimming with confusion right now.
He's a great recruiter. He also seems to be willing to play a little fast-and-loose with the truth with recruits, so he's less hemmed in than other coaches.
"You'll be my first 1,000 yard rusher. I'm a Big10 guy originally and I know you have to have a power running game to be sucessful. Right now, that's the one component I'm missing in the running backs we have. Hope you're ready to play a lot as a freshman....blah, blah, blah"
If that doesn't work: "Tim Tebow told me you should go to Ohio State."
Lucky for him he never stays in one area for too long. Lying to recruits works great at first, but when you go back to recruit the younger brother or another recruit playing for the same coach you might find yourself walking into closed doors.
Maybe Dunn would be well advised to try to talk to one of the six 4-stars from the list of Meyer RB recruits upthread? find out if they heard the same story and how it worked out when they got to UF?
To expound a little...
Meyer apparently told Dunn that he "always wanted big backs, but never had them". (Not sure why he never recruited them?)
Also, Dunn said they discussed the offense that Meyer wants to run. Dunn said he is excited to meet face-to-face with Meyer, and "feels good about things."
One positive: Dunn stated that the UM coaches are "cool" and he really likes them and it is going to be a tough decision to make, but he is still committed to OSU.
Because he was having such a hard time recruiting at Florida! Jebus...Well, whatever happens with Dunn, we're just going to have to get used to losing some recruits to Meyer's bullsh*t.
How do you know the extent of their conversation? I'm just curious.
Going through link after link, I read it on the Twitter account for Ari Wasserman from Buckeye Sports Bulletin. He has successive entries about how the Meyer/Dunn conversation went, all in quotes, as if Dunn had said those things himself somewhere.
I have no familiarity with this guy, just was doing some research after I had heard Meyer had contacted Dunn. Very possible Mr. Wasserman's credibility is dung-worthy, but he seemed to be in contact with eleven warriors and some other guy from a TV station that says "Book it!" re: Dunn staying with Ohio.
As someone who is counting down the days til I can move back to Michigan from Ohio, I don't trust any Buckeye fan until I have at least 2 corroborating sources who are not Buckeye fans.
Well we already have Shane Morris, so we've seemingly committed to pro-style. Honestly though, I don't mind pro-style as long as the QB can move. It's the statutes I'm afraid of, which Morris kind of reminds me of, regardless of how great his arm may be.
Look up video of Shane Morris hurdling a defender. Your fears are unfounded.
