This is key. Think of the loaded WR corps Bama, OSU have had. Keep winning, spread the wealth. Hopefully the defense performs and doesn't force the offense to drain the clock in games.
Looking for 3 or 4 tickets. I plan on holding out closer to game time, but if I can get a decent price, I am open to discussing. I probably am not willing to pay over $300 a ticket.
When did I say anything about donating? The President having the autonomy to decide whether the the football team plays or not, gives him the responsibility to be transparent with student-athletes, parents, and the football staff.
And for the people who say thats not how the chain of command works, it is obvious that chain of command is not working, and therefore forcing Harbaugh and parents going to the top for answers.. If the AD had answers to give Harbaugh, we would not have this situation.
There are bunch of states that are playing high school football and aren't seeing Covid-19 breakouts. Is it possible? Sure.
With all the resources these teams have and the rapid tests they are getting access to, breakouts will be stopped before two teams even get on the same field (TCU vs SMU rescheduled, for example).
It is so frustrating how many people's comment for all of these issues is "It's just Football!" or "Schlissel has much more important things to worry about". Sure he has a ton of priorities running a university, but the people acting like football and the revenue it drives in not mattering are just kidding themselves.
The facts are putting kids in live classes, but not being open to football is a simply Cover Your Ass move and hypocritical. Schlissel doesn't run the UN, he can visit the football program and explain why their world has been turned upside down.
I am all for taking cautions with Covid, but I cannot wrap my head around giving students the chance to go to live classes, but not giving athletes the chance to decide whether they can play sports.
I tried to find this before posting, but struck out. It is unclear if B1G athletes were even the group being studied and not just athletes in the test group.
Before everyone gets all tough about Barstool not being credible, this a damn student ran account. Each college account is ran by a studnet at that school. Not saying its correct, just aim your blames correctly.
I wish they had a higher quality material for this shirt. Once I start wearing these shirts regularly they wear down so fast. The colors fade, the printing wears, and the shirt streches out.
I get that its the student shirt and they are trying to keep the prices low, but at least offer a higher quality option.
Not huge into hockey recruiting. Wouldn't this initially hurt B1G, but overall help because kids would be less likely to make the jump to pro because they're younger?
If wrong, can someone explain negatives in better detail?
This seems to be a OSU-UM-MSU dogfight. I think OSU is the bigger threat. Kid is really smart, too. I could see him looking at Stanford and other big academic schools.
Fish just said it has nothing to do with SOTS. The only half realistic suggestion that fits all his clues is Woodson being recruiting coordinator. I'll believe when I see it though.
As weird as it sounds, in the early stages of my sports obsession as a kid I only watched shows on ESPN, ESPN2, etc.. so some nights I ended up watching my fair share of WSOP. For no direct reason, I always despised Phil Hellmuth.
I was also at the game in one of the section and there were several sections that were half full. While I understand 9 o'clock on a Tuesday is tough, but when the #3 team in the nation comes to town that place should be packed especially since we don't get OSU at Crisler this year.

Great read, Ace. I haven't logged into my MGoBlog account since 2022. Had to this time!

Yeah, the search for a hotel/Airbnb has been brutal. Hard to find anything under $450 a night anywhere near campus.
It is looking like we are gonna be forced into Cedar Rapids.

The only thing I have to go off of is that 26 Power 5 answered a survey about potential heart issues as a result of COVID-19, and Oregon St was the only school with one student with a heart-related issue, but it was not myocarditis. Sione is a great guy. He was part of the group of athletes that visited me at Mott when I had surgery back in '13.
Ah, reading is tough sometimes.
Who did James Franklin beat on the road who was a ranked team? I couldn't find it anywhere.

Rant over.

Triple Post
Triple Post. Three posts for the three names for DPJ.

Balls of steel for that kid, if reports were true that his parents are adamant about him staying close to home.
Take that Rents
EDIT: Ryan Bartow National Guy at 247 put in his CBz for UM, too. This completes Lorenz local + national guy combo for CBz.

Now if Phil Ivey was attending.....
RIC FLAIR WOO!
Think he's gonna let Stanford and UM give one last pitch. Per Brian Dohn, "Hopefully sometime this weekend."
Go Rockets tonight!
