what happend to that post that was totally ripping RR earlier. BUt I had to go away and calm down before I replied to it. I have ... now whoever you are(or whereever that diary weny) fuck you. Now, I get into the game as much as the next passionate fan, but I never thought this game was RR fault. He pulled Tate because he was not playing well. It happens. Maybe earlier??? Who knows. Could Tate have pulled the last drive off??? Not based on the previous drives - he was trying to do too much (my opinion). This season, starting 4-0, gave us all great hope. But w/ a YOUNG team you take steps forward and backward. Even with the loss... I think they took steps forward. Hell, even Herbstriet was very complimentary about us at the end and throughout... Go Blue! |

UGA v. Auburn in Athens - 2003 Best TAILGATE experince evr. They do it up in the SEC. But still does not beat the whole Big House atmosphere! |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | I was in that Section |
18, row 68 seat 31 & 32... I did not see it but that is BS. I stood when everyone else did and did not have a problem. But on 2nd thought there were a lot of snobby older people. One lady said: "BO would not have played this many freshman." And I said if they were this good he would, and she gave me a look like I could suck it. Her husband just looked at me like I was an idiot... So I guess I could see that... for crying out loud it's not the opera. |

I am a MI Nat'l Guardsman.... How about you give them to combat veterans or someone that is home on leave from Astan/Iraq? Not me, but the real hero's... |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | It happens in the media |
It happens in the media everyday whether it's sports or not. But yes it is sad. |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | I saw a lot of stuff by ND |
I saw a lot of stuff by ND during that game that was not called (unnecessary roughness, holding, mugging, grabbing, pinching, etc...). That stuff happens... A lot of times retaleation won't be called if the Ref knows both have a part in it (unless it's really bad). Weis is just getting his pudding out. When I played DIII ball people were always doing stuff. I have had more bod hair pulled out during one game my Jr. year than I had when I had my back waxed last year... Weis is trying everything he can to deflect heat. |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | Good point... no lost faith. |
Good point... no lost faith. I just jump straight to the defense of RR. I think he is a great man on and OFF the field. The evidence is there. |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | Amen..... I agree 100%. Go |
Amen..... I agree 100%. Go Blue. Man am I excited. After the last game I bought tickets to this weekends game because I need to be there to see EVERYTHING hands on. I want to see the Victors March, the excitement that has come, and the team play - in person. Yes it is EMU, but who cares this is fun and we should all have fun w/ this no matter the record at the end of the year. It is, after all, a game! |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | He should see the ball no |
He should see the ball no less than 20 - 25 times a game.. evident in the ND game... no way they are down by 3 at half if he saw the ball more. There was a time where they did not run a running back for a while. |
| 3 years 35 weeks ago | So what we are all saying is |
So what we are all saying is that Kelly is better than Rich Rod? Great faith!!!! Rich Rod is and will always be the man. |
| 3 years 38 weeks ago | I was in H. S. |
when I became a die hard fan of U of M. It was the summer of 1994... I grew up in a family where my Dad (sorry ladies, the man dictates the "Fandom") never had a clear cut favorite. I have pictures in my youth where I had MSU & UM clothes on. I went back and forth as any kid would... I went to MSU Basketball camps (never football thank God), etc. But when My HS coach selected me (it was an honor to go- he would not let just everyone go) in my Jr. summer to go to UM football camp I took it (my HS coach is very well known from the west side of the state - D1... Rockford.)He would only take ones that he thought could play at the college level (be it 1, 2, or 3). I had the HONOR of hearing BO speak... and getting to run on the field from the tunnel, making an int. in MI stadium, etc.. I became hooked. I will always be a M fan... I will never leave them as they have never left me. Go Blue. It is a part of who I became, and the values I will teach my children. |

AMEN! |
| 4 years 7 weeks ago | And this is what we voted |
And this is what we voted for? A man that can tell private companies how to run... lesson learned - do not take bail out money and keep gov't. out of the pockets of all. Hell, the gov't can't run anything (outside of the military) that works (ss, amtrak, USPS, etc...) Thanks no checks and balances having government! If this is what people voted for then we have a seriously uneducated country! |

| 4 years 11 weeks ago | College. They were recruiting |
College. They were recruiting me pretty good. I actually could have won a ring if I went there (they won the MIAA in 97 i think). but oh well. Going to shcool in Chicago was a blast! Where did you play? |
| 4 years 11 weeks ago | Concordia University... it is |
Concordia University... it is about 7 min west of Downtown Chicago. Sister school to the one in A2. We were not very good. But when I went to Adrian and the players were like "we go to Toledo all the time..." I was like Chicago will be a nice place to spend 4 yrs. |
| 4 years 11 weeks ago | The HS players cannot |
The HS players cannot participate in practices or be on campus unless visiting (for recruting purposes). I played D3 and the week after I committed I had the workout program in my mailbox, so it is safe to assume that the kids in HS have something similar (if not the same) to what the team is doing. I believe (if I am wrong I am sure someone will corect me) that Barwis is not considered a member of the Football Team coaching staff per the NCAA so he can be with them when they are working out, and so on... The players do have unofficial workouts like 7 on 7, etc... that the coachs cannot be at (but they usually are "around"). I cannot remember the exact rules on contact but I believe that they cannot have any football type activities that they (the coaches) are running. |
| 4 years 16 weeks ago | I get your sense of humor |
I get your sense of humor regarding this, but please that is a disrespectful thing to do to compare the two (even in a comedic sense). What the men at Omaha did was unspeakably worse. |
| 4 years 19 weeks ago | NCIS |
What? An abomination? I love that show (I own all of the seasons). But I guess it's not for everyone... |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | Or maybe we could all meet |
Or maybe we could all meet and do this! Yes, to this song! |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | Amen, there is this guy that |
Amen, there is this guy that is in my Lion's Club, he is on my shit list for eternity. Especially if/when he starts all of a sudden changing his tune next year! |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | You are correct. I hear it |
You are correct. I hear it everyday from other M fans that just rip the program. I have been mad, disappointed, and confused this year but I have still tuned in, wore my M stuff, and been a fan. I was at the WI game and my emotions went up from the bottom like everyone else's BUT we stayed and supported- that is what WE need to do! This is why they play the game! If you look at all the games this year... we have been there. The biggest thing I take from this year is that nobody has quit, they fight. That IS coaching, and good coaching. Coaching is more than what we SEE on Saturdays. Go Blue! |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | At some point you are not |
At some point you are not what you were, and then you are nothing. It's at this point people start putting themselves together, once you have had that year where you do too much of something—drink, play video games, feel sorry for yourself, brick threes, fumble—feel terrible after, and then do too much of that something again. This is me! At 32 I have decided I needed something to get me back on "track." Not that I am off, have a great paying job (that I don't have to do to much at), a great family (wife, 14 mo. old), etc... But something has been missing, so I joined the National Guard. We shall see what this journey brings! |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | And allow extra time for |
And allow extra time for traffic on 23 as you get closer to C-bus there are a ton of lights and the traffic is heavy, so for game day expect a lot more! |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | I used to live outside columbus... |
Take 23 south, to 75. 75 & 23 are the same until Findlay. At the big sugar tanks there is an exit for 23 south to C-bus. STAY on that all the way into town. It will turn into High Street. From High Street you should be able to get right to the stadium. High Street runs right through (or next to) the OSU campus. Have a great trip. I vowed in 2000 to never watch a game there again. I went to the PSU/OSU game and was disgusted by the fans. the ones I was with knew I was from MI and were cool with me. But my sister came down to see us in 2002 and went to THE GAME w/ her boyfriend at the time and was really treated horribly my the OSU fans. Plus 90% of the people down there are a holes when it comes to us vs. them. Not a surprise to anyone! |
| 4 years 33 weeks ago | spot on |
Spot on sir! I would like a hat made up ASAP! Brian, another item for your store? I have a promotional guy across the hall... |
| 4 years 33 weeks ago | I think everyone needs to |
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath... It is a game! Games are what we play to have fun, no? As I looked at my entry I noticed that I said "I was wondering why I paid for it..." All I meant was that I was stunned and I expected the team to be better than what they showed in the first half, and was disappointed. Yes disappointed. Who was not disappointed? If you say you were'nt you are lying. I DO NOT BOO, AND NEVER WILL BOO A BUNCH OF KIDS - because I have been there and it sucks. I never stop watching a game, or leave a game no matter what. I SUPPORT the people distracting my life for 3+ hours every saturday. I get into it too much and that is a fault of mine (my wife makes that clear every Saturday). But what makes this country great is that we can have these arguments! |
| 4 years 33 weeks ago | Well, I did not leave! It |
Well, I did not leave! It was just an expression... I would love to stay for every game and go to every game, etc... just an expression. I would love to go to more than just one game a year, but that is my limit as of now!
