There was no "Title IX" for men or women when Baseball, Basketball, Track (Athletics), and Football began at the University of Michigan. Of those sports, only Basketball and Football have managed to become profitable operations, and that took over 100 years to achieve. No one from Government was mandating opportunities for boys/men back then, were they? No Federal/State subsidies were provided to establish programs and oversight to achieve conformance, right?
While I don't condone the chauvinism and obstructionism of Canham, Orr, and others, I think some allowance needed to be made for profitable programs. Especially when those programs literally funded the other unprofitable programs (Unlike other schools, Michigan AD does NOT receive money from the University General Fund or the State Gov). The failure to do this has created the situation we now have with Football and Basketball sinking huge $$$ into gaudy facilities and coaches' salaries merely to prevent those $$$ from going elsewhere.
Late in the 4th Qtr, we seemed to be waiting too long to execute a play. Yes, I know we we're trying to kill time with the lead, but plays have more than one option, and you need a few extra seconds for Option 2 when the Defense stops Option 1. This lead to confusion, rushed sequences, poor shot selection, and 0 points.
To make a run, this team needs Hobbs, Hansen, Brett, and probably a bench player to bring their A-games. Remember Danielle Rauch and Maddie Nolan vs Tennessee some years back? Yeah, that.
So, from a team/fans travel perspective, the South Bend (NDp) Regional would be the closest. Also, either NDp or Ore St would be our easiest route to getting to the Sweet Sixteen.
I'm sure that Brian/Seth will have sooo much revenue from the forthcoming commemorative FB National Championship book, that they will send you to report on WBB roadtrips to PNW and SoCal.
Take it one step further, why does our AD allow the B1G to schedule home games during our Winter/Spring Breaks? Because they've bent over for the almighty TV $$$.
I think the only reason it was ever open to the public was that original endowment from the Margaret Dow Towsley (Yes That Dow) estate had specifically instructed that it was to be for ALL sports and OPEN to the public. Years later when that funding had run its course, and Schembechler Hall needed a renovation, those strings were cut, and Football did what it wanted.
Yes, very disappointed that we didn't do a better job vs their Press. I noticed that KBA repeatedly put both Cam and Evans on the floor. I would normally approve this, but it seemed to cause us problems vs their Press.
Also, in the 2nd quarter we got away from the outside shots, instead tried pushing the ball into the paint without much success.
Would have a losing record right now if not for Hansen. Brett is starting to come along. TWilliams still spotty, but has potential. All three are Transfers-in, and have improved during the season.

TBH, the "cover story" for the Maize and Blue plate is a bit sus as well, but I won't argue about more maize and blue: https://www.wzzm13.com/article/news/local/new-winter-wonderland-license-plates-are-tribute-to-detroit-woman-who-gave-her-life-for-civil-rights/69-b3cf7077-16ff-4746-aab0-fd622872866b

The question of Yost Ice Arena needs to be addressed simultaneously.
Also, what is happening with the former Indoor Track Building? Could it be converted to an ice arena?
No

Get rid of Conference Tournaments and those middling P4 teams won't have an extra loss they didn't need.
No, just The Citadel.
UNC is on the clock.....
Whoever we get needs to be comfortable as a Basketball Coach at a Football School.

Great analysis! This is why we don't recruit 5* WRs. We need extra TE/H-backs and DLs instead.

That sucks. Would Tyrone W leave Wayne St to be our RB Coach again?
Next game: Thur 07 March, 9pm ET BTN vs Minn/Rut winner

Unfortunately, it is not open to the public. Video tour (by MVictors) from 4 years ago here:

hit a plateau. Unless someone makes a significant jump in performance, we are a Bubble/WNIT team

I f'ing love it, man!
In some ways, Harbaugh has more common with A.A. Stagg...
Both left just before new teams came into the Conference.
Both made significant changes to the look of our helmets.
Both won Rose Bowls in their last year.
Both played for legendary B1G coaches (Crisler played at Chicago under A.A. Stagg)
Both were 1-1 vs ND while at Michigan
You haven't been listening to Jim....
