Unfortunately it looks like…

Unfortunately it looks like Sam also won't have All 22 access this coming year. He mentioned it would be a $50k licensing fee in order to use it on the show so they had to scrap it for 2022.

A crowdfund of course *could* happen, but I think folks on this board would rather give it to the players at this point

I can see your point, but…

I can see your point, but smashing buckeyes on Bo’s grave is one of my favorite memories from college.

One year Bob Ufer’s grandson came and let everyone honk the famous Touchdown horn.

It’s not really a somber event, moreso just a group of Michigan fans talking about past successes.

Was at the Nebraska game and…

Was at the Nebraska game and I put my buddy in a full bear hug after HH hurdled that dude. Might be my favorite play of the Harbaugh tenure.

Ehhhhh, Chris Webber is a…

Ehhhhh, Chris Webber is a really high bar to reach for Duncan unless he magically grows out all other parts of his game as well.

Would you say that Kyle Korver is better than Chris Webber (or at least close)? I'd say a marginally better Kyle Korver, or should I say a prime Kyle Korver if he played in 2020, is about the ceiling for Duncan Robinson barring incredible improvement in all facets of his game.

Yep…

Yep this makes sense

5 five stars for Clemson…

5 five stars for Clemson from 2008-12

Harbaugh's first five full classes are the same as above

60 recruits ranked below 500 for Clemson in that same timespan.

Not really a fair comparison though because I don't think Clemson was at the same level of prestige in 2008 as Harbaugh's Michigan was in 2015.

Will be able to go for the…

Will be able to go for the first time in a couple years! Perhaps one of the best things a diehard Michigan fan can do every year (aside from, ya know, attending the games).

Shit you're right. Now OSU…

Shit you're right. Now OSU knows they have to gameplan for the secret plays that we haven't run all year. Really sucks that we gave them our secret playbook before the year started

From what I heard, O'Korn…

From what I heard, O'Korn was the only QB who knew all the kills on the road. Peters wouldn't have been able to play in a hostile environment because the team wouldn't have know the playcalls. Thus, Rutgers was the first game for him to be able to play.

Hope Mccaffrey's learning those now

I watched games before then,…

I watched games before then, but the first game I truly can say I watched as a "Michigan fan" was the 2006 Ohio State game.

Little did I know that first game was the peak of my fandom arghhhhh

5433! Tried to get VT…

5433! Tried to get VT Cruisers to catch on but it never did...

I really hope that the team…

I really hope that the team's focus was on installing a decent part of the playbook and surviving against the first two opponents when we were short handed Runyan and DPJ.

If Patterson's injury heals up a bit, then all of a sudden we are a fully healthy team coming off two weeks of additional practice.

2016 Penn State is a nice analogue, because they basically went through the same transformation as us. It'd be fun if Charbonnet turns into Saquon Barkley of course, but one can hope that the RPOs start to manifest against Wisconsin.

I'm really intrigued though about the Ronnie Bell options that we've seen in videos of practice. Do you think that we're going to have a triple option package built into our offense or do you think that was simply a practice for Army?

Oh man you're headed to my…

Oh man you're headed to my absolute favorite place in the entire world. The only "must do" hike is Avalanche Lake because it's equal parts easy and beautiful.

Ptarmigan Tunnel is my favorite hike in the park. I love to drive in from West Glacier and then do any number of hikes from the Many Glacier area, you really can't go wrong there.

Just follow the maize, but…

Just follow the maize, but honestly I often enjoy just walking around and hanging out with opposing fans as well. A little good-natured ribbing is hilarious provided you had a few game-day beverages

Is there Tailgating?

Unfortunately it looks like my student tickets won't allow me to stay for the Kansas-Villanova game, so looks like I'm in the market to find a bar packed with Michigan fans after the first game.

In a perfect world, this bar would also be packed with wealthy alums who happen to pity the poor boy who is spending the last of his savings in order to drive 3000 miles to watch a game for 2 hours.

Your ticket has to match ID

Sadly, you won't be able to enter the arena unless the name on the ticket matches your name. A ton of students aren't going to be able to go because they aren't season basketball ticket holders

I’m gonna go all the way

Going with three friends and am planning on driving the 22 hours from Ann Arbor to SA. Once in a lifetime experience to have your team in the final four when you’re in school. I’m not going to waste it.

Big Win

I'm going to predict a 172-10 win for the good guys with Zavier Simpson tallying a triple double (points, assists, and blocks). 60 point game for Austin Davis off the bench

Hot Buttery Biscuits!

We're elite? We're elite

Here

He has already moved into his office here from what I’ve been told.

We Love you Ace

Football is just a game, get better buddy

I have a dream

OUR QB TROUBLES ARE A THING OF THE PAST

He wanted to come

He apparently was looking at us hard but he has some serious beef with a couple players currently on the team, and when that got out our coaching staff decided the risks outweighed the rewards.

Ha!

Last I saw of Markley, it's still quite the bare, ugly place you describe. Unsure if it could possibly be uglier or barer, but that's not a building I'd want to live in

It's noise

One of my father's friends has a son who works on Georgia's recruiting staff. He said that Georgia is nowhere even close to where Ole Miss was and he doesn't know of anything dirty in the slightest. Georgia's recruiting hasn't gotten better since Richt got fired, we're just reaching into the region more (so we'll lose more recruiting battles against them than we used to). He said they just floored Isaiah Wilson and changed his mind, nothing more to it.

I swear

I think that the legend of Grant Newsome's playing ability increases with every passing day. In a week people are going to start comparing him to Orlando Pace I guess

You're absolutely right

If we had Cam Newton instead of John O'Korn that would have been the difference in the game

No I actually have insider information from Counterstrike

I heard that Crawford and Harbaugh got into a seriously heated debate about who was at fault during the War of 1812. Crawford was so angry at Harbaugh's claims that Britain didn't desire to enter the war that he actually faked an injury on the field to get back

DOODLEBOB

MEE HOY MINOY!

Cmon man

Right now I just want to legitametely beat Ohio State before I even think about a national title

This is going to shock you...

It's actually Jahlil Beats, not jungle. A friend showed me one day and it was the most inconsequential mind-blowing moment of my life

I think you mean

The Second War for Independence

No Chance, but...

Hot damn that would be fresh

I think that Californication

I think that Californication and One Hot Minute are classics as well. Stadium Arcadium could have been a classic if they'd cut one of the discs out and made it a normal album.

There's an unpopular opinion, almost all double albums are too long. Just cut the album back and release the rest of the songs as B-sides, there's nothing wrong about B-sides!

Swans

I've been listening to a band called the swans lately and they are really awesome. Some of their songs stretch to like half an hour with much of that being build up, but when the track gets to it's climax it PAYS OFF.

Unpopular opinion? I think that John Frusciante (formerly of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. If Anthony Kiedis was a better songwriter and lyricist, that band would have been one of the all-time greats instead of where they currently stand. Kiedis ruins that band. Even though Blood Sugar Sex Magik is an incredible album, I think they could've made 5 or 6 classics if they had someone different leading the band. Listen to Frusciante, Flea, and Chad Smith jam and tell me differently.

Radiohead got too cute on KOL, but they've veered back in track and I trust their future stuff will blow me away yet again.

Wrong

We all know damn well that Denard's most effective position is as QB under center

Isn't Rutgers our Homecoming this year?

I'd imagine they try to put the worst game imaginable as our homecoming so that everyone can drink and be merry

That DPJ route...

Peoples-Jones has had my attention for the day from that route alone. I can't get over how smooth and explosive that simple route was

Best fishing

I've found that the Lamar River Valley provides the best combo of wildlife viewing and fishing action. If you want to go to an area that won't be fished much, I'd suggest the small parcel of Yellowstone in Idaho might be the most beautiful part of the park.

Welp

Looks like our dreams of Aubrey Solomon playing wide receiver won't come true.

Gus not announcing March Madness is a tragedy

Gus Johnson is fine at announcing football I guess, but I feel it's wasting his talents.

Look out for student tickets though

Tickets in the student section require a student ID or a validation sticker. Anything between 27-33 should be avoided at all costs

He linked back to Brian's column after the Maryland game

"That's where we are right now, fighting a losing battle against the spreadsheet people. Jim Hackett may be a nice guy and vast improvement on Brandon, sure. Not much has happened to indicate that he's anything but another spreadsheet person making the columns add up and importing what passes for creativity at other places."

Damn we were in such a low place three years ago. We had no idea Hackett was actually Michigan Jesus in disguise.

Glad he has a chance to continue his education here

If you aren't able to play the sport you love, at least he's able to get a free education at the best university in the world

Coaching Changes might be the tipping point

Even though we lose three starters, there's a chance that the addition of Greg Frey to our coaching staff will improve OL play to a level we haven't seen in a loooong time.

If it's true that we'll be spreading our offense out just a little bit more with Pep Hamilton in tow, our Offensive line will be put in a better position to succeed.

I think it's ridiculous that some fans think that Speight has hit his ceiling as a starter. His ceiling is doing what he did against Maryland and Illinois last year to Ohio State and everyone else we play. I think Speight has the ceiling of a Heisman finalist with the coaching he has around him. A Harbaugh QB is almost guaranteed to be an NFL draft pick, and I think that will be the case with Speight as well

9 in ONE game

Michigan had nine TDs against Rutgers in the steamrolling last year. I had the same thought as you until I checked the box score.

RHCP love

Hillel Slovak from the original incarnation of the band, he knew how to play funk and I wonder where the band would have gone if he hadn't died.

John Frusciante is one of my all-time favorites, but he's been making electronic house music for the last couple years (waste of his talents).

Jim James of My Morning Jacket is absolutely unbelievable

Never mention that film ever again

Rocky V never happened ya hear me!

I might be a homer

Almost the entirety of Radiohead's catalog consists of songs that require multiple listens. I hated them for two years because I listened to Kid A once, but now they're my favorite band of all time.
