Erick All's Touchdown Up Close
Here's a cool, short video that popped up on my recommended videos on YT of Erick All's TD to seal the game from an up close fan's perspective that I thought you all might be interested in. Upload courtesy of YT user Johnny Olden.
I'm telling you man, it's all about the crossing routes. Go Blue!

Love that "comin' right at ya!" angle.

That fan was so much calmer than I was lol

Personally I was "nice, first down...whoa. WHOA! YEAHHH! HE COULD.....HE DID!!!!"

Damn cool! Great seats!

I went full prepubescent high pitched "go baby go baby gooooooo" in my basement. It's the play of the year for me.

The Hawkins strip was pretty fun too

In terms of in the moment -- the Anthony 93 yarder takes it for me. Of course, taken in context that play is not as awesome as All's and now I haz a sad

I actually also thought of the Hutch TD that was...n't. That one and the AA TD both got me hollering in a way that scared my 10 month old. Luckily he was napping when All took it home. The HH hurdle in Nebraska did cause my bellows to wake the poor boy up tho.

Was at the Nebraska game and I put my buddy in a full bear hug after HH hurdled that dude. Might be my favorite play of the Harbaugh tenure.

I kissed my very confused dog after the All TD. I may have thrown him up in the air a few times too.

I’ll be honest…I was happy, cheered for a second, and then went back to being extremely nervous. I saw the time remaining and felt very uneasy.
Two 4th quarter come from behind wins, and game sealing defensive stops (and in this case, got the needed 1st down to ice the game). Maybe this year really is different. We will know for sure in a week and a half

You know how you know it's different? Michigan closed out the game with two (2) rush-only first downs to get into Victory Formation and kneel it out inside FG range.
When was the last time Michigan was able to do that in a game like that one?
November 15th, 2021 at 7:12 PM ^
PSU in man to man. Trips to the right all running to the left leaving Erik All moving to the right and his defender running into a fellow Penn State player = gold or I mean maize.

For once, it was nice to see the OTHER team get got.

Wow, amazing find!

Awesome view. Thanks.

480p!? What is this, 2007?
Kidding. Kind of.
Great angle. I was watching with family and didn't have the sound on so I didn't realize how wide open the field was. Assumed someone would get All after about 15 yards but that obviously never happened. Hell yeah!

I was wondering the same thing. Was the guy using a digital camera from 2006? I still appreciate the video. Just laughed when 480 was the only option.

Totally agree with the crossing pattern comment. We now have a handful of very big plays that fall into the crossing route pattern category. OSU makes a living out of those plays and for the life of me I could never understand why they weren't in our repertoire. Hopefully Gattis will now use them more often.

That’s such a great shot! What a great play.
November 15th, 2021 at 8:40 PM ^
When he caught that, you could sense that it was going to be a TD or damn near. I finally sat down on the sectional after having been pacing around the family room for much of the game.
November 15th, 2021 at 8:41 PM ^
WILL THEY CATCH HIM?!? NOOOOOO!!!
November 15th, 2021 at 8:46 PM ^
Thanks. That's great.

I was searching YouTube yesterday to see if there was a phone camera shot of All’s touchdown and when I couldn’t find one, I figured that no Michigan fan in the crowd probably expected us to score from THAT far out so nobody would be recording.
Thank you for this. Love it.

Really cool view of the play.
Thanks for sharing ?

It’s amazing how fast he ran on a bad ankle.
November 16th, 2021 at 12:16 AM ^
Amazing how fast he ran for a TE. We've had some amazing TEs at Michigan but not a lot of them could've scored on that play.

What a great view of that play! Go Erick, goooooo!
November 15th, 2021 at 11:04 PM ^
What did the announcer say over the loudspeaker right after All caught the ball?
November 16th, 2021 at 12:50 AM ^
"Fuck you James Franklin"?
November 16th, 2021 at 7:38 AM ^
This is the way.

That is cool, but I would have been way more excited. I was watching the game from a hotel room in Adrian. I was yelling Go. Go. Go as loud as I could.. My wife was giving me the "shut up" look as the walls were a bit thin at this old hotel.

I've watched this play like 20 times. The crowd is so loud and then when All catches the ball, the air just gets sucked out of the stadium. Once he scored I knew UM was going to win. If Harbaugh can start pulling out a few of these games, the future is very bright.

Nice to see a crossing route work for us instead of against us for a change. Sweet TD for his first though.
November 16th, 2021 at 8:41 AM ^
What a great view!!! I had no idea he angled over to the sideline until around the 10-yd line. I thought his turn was sharper than that and took him straight down the sideline - the power of angled views can be really deceiving!
Also, a previous description of this play from me was totally wrong, other than that only the MLB noticed him going the opposite direction of everyone else. This is why I should never critique a play based on a live view!

Awesome!! Love it! Thanks for posting.
