The last time Michigan beat Michigan State at Breslin was Jan. 25, 1997.

Remember what happened later that year (well, technically the next year, but you know what I mean)?

Gotta love the Spartoons hitting on Izzo as if he is Satan.  Way to go Men in Blue - you did your University proud!!!

Hopefully, this will propel you to greater heights this year.  Also, way to go Zach with the in-your-face timeout "talk" towards the end of the game.

When was the last time you enjoyed a win this much?

The two that come to mind are 2009 Notre Dame and the win over Clemson in the first round of the tournament.

So I've had a tough couple days.  On Wednesday afternoon I rushed home from work to take my grandma to the ED.  She was having weird sternal chest pain and generally not feeling well.  (My grandparents are like my kids--I take care of them and always have.)

After several hours of waiting and testing, she was admitted very early Thursday morning.  We've gone through several tests, rounds of blood work, etc., and while she's still there being observed, she's going to be okay.  I've lived at the hospital most of the past couple days and am quite exhausted.  I couldn't watch the game but was getting text updates from my friend.  When he texted that we won, I literally SCREAMED.  The nurse came in.  I probably shouldn't scream at night in a hospital or at any time, but I was so. freakin'. happy.

An amazing end to an exhausting couple of days.  My grandma is coming home today and you best believe I'm rocking my "Queme los barcos...queme los sofas" shirt.  GO BLUE!

In my four years at UM, I haven't been able to attend many road victories like this.  Singing the Victors up and down the Breslin Center was awesome, and I know that the entire arena felt our presence, even though it was ~50 of us.
